A young professional purchased a 40th floor condo with a stunning view of the lake shore. The tiny galley kitchen was dated and poorly designed. Limited counter space and few cabinets, made this a difficult and uncomfortable place to cook and entertain.
The age and the construction of the building made redesign very challenging. With patience and determination, we overcame each obstacle and created the perfect space for this client’s needs and lifestyle.
The new kitchen is open to the living space and shares its spectacular views. A large island dramatically expanded the cooking area, houses several appliances, adds lots of storage, and serves as the main eating area. The newly designed kitchen is the center piece of this lovely condo.

After meeting with Kenny & Laura, we determined that they wanted a clean and effortless design that had elements of nature and healing. We started by determining that they wanted a neutral and natural materials.
The centerpiece of the space was the tub, this stone tub was purchased, and all other elements were carefully selected to enhance the healing and spa experience.
The large format flooring selected is called Lagos Concrete from Arizona Tile. The tile is 24X48 which makes for less grout lines and the minimal chance for the pattern to be broken up with lines.
The shower wall tile is also a 24X48 tile called Cosmic White and laid in a horizontal pattern for ease of maintenance and care. By using this large format, it almost appears to be a slab material.
The pebble chosen is a warm blend which stimulates a healing capability during the showering experience.
The shower fixtures, tub filler and faucets are from Delta Faucet. They are the Trinsic collection.
The shower head is called the Hydro Rain shower head, which diverts to an everyday shower head, but has the option of a rain shower.
Just look at that vanity! The natural veined grained wood from Room & Board completes that natural element and promotes healing.
Haku White quartz countertop and rectangular sinks give a modern element paired with electric mirrors for even light when in use.
Beautiful remodel!

It’s difficult to determine the star of this contemporary kitchen conversion because it has so many stunning elements. Is it the gorgeous silver waves granite on the multi level island? Or the statement light fixture that crowns the island? Maybe it’s the lighted showcase cabinetry that surrounds the refrigerator. Or it might be the more subtle details like the brushed aluminum banding on the cabinet doors and drawers. Regardless of what catches your eye, the entirety of the space and all its details create a contemporary space equally suited for family living and entertaining.

Shortly after purchasing their home, the owners determined a complete landscape makeover was needed so they could truly enjoy Ohio’s short outdoor season in their expansive back yard. The project entailed designing multiple areas for relaxing and dining enhanced with the addition of trickling water and warmth of a firepit. Incorporating a blue pallet of Pennsylvania Bluestone patios and stacked stone columns throughout the project perfectly complements the taupe home and creates a naturally soothing quality in the new backyard retreat.

Given a very limited time frame, we were asked to assist a client in downsizing their home of 40 years into a small condominium. Our challenge was to determine which items would be preserved and incorporated into the new space and how to integrate supplemental furniture and art with those well-loved retained pieces.

We had the wonderful opportunity of determining exterior colors for the home and adding some wonderful detail like the wide hardie board trim painted a crisp white. When the weather cools, we will see some beautiful new landscaping too!

These homeowners determined that the kitchen cabinets were in great shape and by updating the hardware would give them a new and fresh look; however the countertops were a priority. Out with the laminate and in with Cambria Hampshire quartz countertops. To give it a WOW factor they chose to add Kate-Lo Sticks and Stones mosiac tile for the backsplash.

The Phi Delta Theta house in Davis, California has been rooted in generations of use. The home was originally occupied in 1916 by the Calpha Agricultural Fraternity that eventually evolved into the California chapter of Phi Delta Theta. The original building was evaluated for renovation in the early 2000’s and it was determined renovation was impractical. The building was demolished and design was completed to maintain the original character of the building’s deep historical roots. Monley Cronin was selected and completed full reconstruction of the facility in 2013. Much of the exterior appearance and character of the building was maintained in the new facility. The building houses 19 beds and has dining and living space for 75.
