In 1994 Rob joined Pulte Homes to open StoneRidge Builders, a division of Pulte Homes offering high end, semi-custom homes to the Mid Atlantic market. Under StoneRidge Builders, Rob oversaw such notable projects as McLean Hundred (McLean); Ashgrove Plantation & Clarks Crossing (Vienna); and Timberlake and Windsong Estates (Oakton). Rob led Pulte’s efforts in establishing themselves as the undisputed leader in customer satisfaction. Nestled in the heart of Mount Washington, we embarked on a remarkable project to construct a breathtaking 18-foot high deck. Our skilled team diligently removed the dilapidated old deck, making way for the creation of a stunning hillside deck. With meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, we built a brand new deck that seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings, offering an elevated outdoor living space that captures the beauty of the landscape.

Our challenge was to transform key areas of this home that were somewhat ignored in a previous renovation. Located in the heart of Larkspur, the reveal was a bright and modern home that marries seamlessly with the rest of the updates. This home is a Historical Landmark, so we worked diligently to honor and protect the architecture and history as we design updates to the Entry, Stairs, Living Room and Dining Room. Splashes of color, texture, pattern, and shine were introduced to add charisma and breath new life. Now, the entire home serves all aspects of life for this happy family.

This is our second project for these clients. We have now renovated ¾ of their home. This project’s goal was to segregate the work area from the private area. They have a professional recording studio, so our team worked around the recording schedule throughout the project to accommodate this. Scott Buley, HTT&T, High Tech Turf & Trees, LandscapeMakeover.biz, Rain Garden Nursery. March 9, 2016. By August (nearly 6 mos. later) two small areas (7 to 9 sq. ft. max) to the left of the Pelicans slowly started declining. This timing is confirmed by photos we diligently took every time we visited. We aerated, added todressing, and overseeded. By late September, early October, we noted no improvement. On October 13th we again came in and removed dead (smelly) sod, and re-sodded with 1&1/2 pieces of new Turf Type Tall Fescue, exactly matching the original sod, from the same source near Woodburn, Oregon. It took less than 2 rolls of sod. Each roll is 5 square feet. The only other areas that had this appearance, (or smell), were acknowledged as obvious "dog spots". We may need to run a soil test on the sod removed, if necessary. We also noted that there were no spots in the front yard, where the lawn is not enclosed.

We are delighted to showcase one of our latest projects, a remarkable affordable luxury minimalist home located in a bustling Sydney inner suburb. This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional architectural design and building services, tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Situated along a busy road, we understood the importance of creating a tranquil oasis for our client. Our focus was on providing a high level of acoustic insulation to ensure peace and serenity within the home. To achieve this, we utilized Hebel panel walls, known for their excellent soundproofing properties, and installed double-glazed windows throughout the residence. The result is a home that offers an unparalleled sense of quietude, shielded from the noise of the bustling city streets. This emphasis on acoustic insulation highlights our dedication to creating a peaceful and harmonious living environment for our clients. The design of this affordable luxury home is a beautiful fusion of modernity and minimalism, exuding sophistication and elegance. We believe that luxury can be accessible without compromising on quality or design, and this project exemplifies just that. The open-plan layout maximizes space and natural light, creating an airy and inviting ambiance throughout the home. We collaborated closely with our client to understand their unique needs and preferences, allowing us to create a custom-designed home that truly embodies their individuality.

As with many residents of the Armitage neighborhood in South Minneapolis, the owners of this 1940-built Tudor home love where they live. So much so, they were willing to commit to a large, whole-house remodel in order to stay put. Castle worked diligently with these homeowners to help them realize their ultimate goals for their home. By redesigning the first-floor layout, Castle was able to create a much more open space. Walls previously separating the kitchen and dining room were removed and replaced with more countertop space in the form of a seated peninsula. The kitchen was also updated with new granite countertops, more backsplash tile to match the existing, and partial new cabinetry by The Woodshop of Avon to match existing. New hardwood flooring was installed in the kitchen to match the existing dining room. The size of the dining room was then almost doubled by removing an adjacent first-floor bedroom. A new sunroom was added in the back which opened the space even further. Dixie Caress carpet in the color “Wisteria” was chosen for the sunroom and throughout the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor was given a total makeover with a large dormer addition and a master bedroom suite above the new sunroom. Corbels decorate the exterior while giving support to the overhanging floor of the master bedroom. Now with three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, there’s room for everyone, and a wonderful great room on the main floor to go with it.
