Pebble Shower Floor Remodel - https://bestbath.com/pebble-river-stone-shower-remodel/
Using Bestbath’s TileDesign, one contractor was able to add a recessed pocket to the walk-in shower pan and fill it with natural river stone and tile. Four hours is all it took to create the look and feel of tile but with the added durability, water tight seal and low maintenance of a composite shower pan.

Marble accent pieces on shower curb and used to surround recess in shower. Also, we integrated a site built marble tiled shower pan with the Kohler Choreograph wall panel system.
An Ikea Godmorgan vanity with a 3rd party marble vessel sink.

We opened this bathroom up by eliminating a hall closet and expanding the shower into the space. By adding a shower seat, utilizing a curbless shower pan, and barn style glass shower door this bathroom is handicap accessible. We also added blocking in the walls for future installation of grab bars, if needed. The vanity top is a remnant found at a local granite store and the back splash material is the same as the shower band and niche, tying both areas together.

Our clients came to us because they were tired of looking at the side of their neighbor’s house from their master bedroom window! Their 1959 Dallas home had worked great for them for years, but it was time for an update and reconfiguration to make it more functional for their family.
They were looking to open up their dark and choppy space to bring in as much natural light as possible in both the bedroom and bathroom. They knew they would need to reconfigure the master bathroom and bedroom to make this happen. They were thinking the current bedroom would become the bathroom, but they weren’t sure where everything else would go.
This is where we came in! Our designers were able to create their new floorplan and show them a 3D rendering of exactly what the new spaces would look like.
The space that used to be the master bedroom now consists of the hallway into their new master suite, which includes a new large walk-in closet where the washer and dryer are now located.
From there, the space flows into their new beautiful, contemporary bathroom. They decided that a bathtub wasn’t important to them but a large double shower was! So, the new shower became the focal point of the bathroom. The new shower has contemporary Marine Bone Electra cement hexagon tiles and brushed bronze hardware. A large bench, hidden storage, and a rain shower head were must-have features. Pure Snow glass tile was installed on the two side walls while Carrara Marble Bianco hexagon mosaic tile was installed for the shower floor.
For the main bathroom floor, we installed a simple Yosemite tile in matte silver. The new Bellmont cabinets, painted naval, are complemented by the Greylac marble countertop and the Brainerd champagne bronze arched cabinet pulls. The rest of the hardware, including the faucet, towel rods, towel rings, and robe hooks, are Delta Faucet Trinsic, in a classic champagne bronze finish. To finish it off, three 14” Classic Possini Euro Ludlow wall sconces in burnished brass were installed between each sheet mirror above the vanity.
In the space that used to be the master bathroom, all of the furr downs were removed. We replaced the existing window with three large windows, opening up the view to the backyard. We also added a new door opening up into the main living room, which was totally closed off before.
Our clients absolutely love their cool, bright, contemporary bathroom, as well as the new wall of windows in their master bedroom, where they are now able to enjoy their beautiful backyard!

Master suite addition to an existing 20's Spanish home in the heart of Sherman Oaks, approx. 300+ sq. added to this 1300sq. home to provide the needed master bedroom suite. the large 14' by 14' bedroom has a 1 lite French door to the back yard and a large window allowing much needed natural light, the new hardwood floors were matched to the existing wood flooring of the house, a Spanish style arch was done at the entrance to the master bedroom to conform with the rest of the architectural style of the home.
The master bathroom on the other hand was designed with a Scandinavian style mixed with Modern wall mounted toilet to preserve space and to allow a clean look, an amazing gloss finish freestanding vanity unit boasting wall mounted faucets and a whole wall tiled with 2x10 subway tile in a herringbone pattern.
For the floor tile we used 8x8 hand painted cement tile laid in a pattern pre determined prior to installation.
The wall mounted toilet has a huge open niche above it with a marble shelf to be used for decoration.
The huge shower boasts 2x10 herringbone pattern subway tile, a side to side niche with a marble shelf, the same marble material was also used for the shower step to give a clean look and act as a trim between the 8x8 cement tiles and the bark hex tile in the shower pan.
Notice the hidden drain in the center with tile inserts and the great modern plumbing fixtures in an old work antique bronze finish.
A walk-in closet was constructed as well to allow the much needed storage space.
