A custom niche was designed to display a pottery collection, and offers another space for plant life to grow. Golden hues in the marble add warmth. Wooden bar stools neatly tuck into the island, perfect for socializing and conversation while preparing meals. The kitchen was made with natural materials to inspire peace, and encourage a connection between the environment when considering the food being prepared. A custom knife drawer as part of cabinetry made in collaboration with a local artisan, conveniently located near the oven for easy preparation. FSC certified no VOC apple ply was used for the cabinetry. Custom silverware drawers give ample space for a variety of flatware. Fresh fruit available for healthy snacking doubles as colorful decor. Artwork by Karen Sikie provides a permanent bouquet when flowers begin to wilt. The pantry, featuring a large concealed fridge to match the cabinetry. On the left, two freezer drawers sit below the counter, with additional storage for dried goods and spices. Custom cabinets made in collaboration with a local craftsperson are painted in a warm grey to bring out the dove tones in the marble. The counter tops were specified to reach the clients ideal height for food preparation. The kitchen is designed for ease of use and calm, creating a mindful experience for cooking.

Comfortable, practical, light and cozy energy were the criteria that we worked with for this luscious, tropical home. An outdoor space you could be at ease in, never forgetting the four dogs and kids to cater for. It exudes personality, a chilled vibe reflecting the family and their lifestyle. The design features a tight selection of complementary hues which were to remain consistent throughout the house and mirrored in the outdoor rattan furniture, with the use of plenty of white – we’re talking white walls, natural wood (the real deal) and ceilings, with pops of blue in the shutters and accessories. The owners wanted elegant, refined, and quirky all at once, utilizing a highly desirable and useful space for parties and we are talking “large events”; the furniture could be taken apart and scattered effortlessly in and around the terrace and garden to make smaller pods to spread out the crowds comfortably whilst offering a relaxed corner to have more intimate chats away from the larger crowds or small intimate family gatherings; where tables were created to offer small intimate pod, but at the drop of a hat, could be joined together to make space for a larger family dinner.

Our client had the perfect lot with plenty of natural privacy and a pleasant view from every direction. What he didn’t have was a home that fit his needs and matched his lifestyle. The home he purchased was a 1980’s house lacking modern amenities and an open flow for movement and sight lines as well as inefficient use of space throughout the house. After a great room remodel, opening up into a grand kitchen/ dining room, the first-floor offered plenty of natural light and a great view of the expansive back and side yards. The client: Mr & Mrs Warner I am thrilled with my blinds. They are unobtrusive when put away which was what I was looking for. I can see clearly through them in to the garden and I can protect myself from the heat and glare of the sun. The blinds help to provide a comfortable dining environment - they do exactly what I wanted them to do, and the best thing is they don’t need cleaning. The Brief: Mr and Mrs Warner were searching for stylish window dressings for the kitchen and study areas that offered ease of use and provided protection from the sun although did not block out the view of the garden. The Broadview solution: To maintain a sense of space, Broadview recommended the installation of blinds from the contemporary Luxaflex® Facette Shades collection. These pioneering new textile shades combine all of the practical functionality of traditional Venetian blinds with the elegance of soft fabrics. The unique 3D fabric features alternating, moveable layers of integrally woven transparent and opaque segments, allowing the user to raise or lower the shade to any height in either open or closed position. Hanging from a durable, elegant cassette rail, made to measure Facette shades have been fitted to cover seven windows of differing width and drop in the kitchen and one 2026mm by 1430mm window in the study. Additional storage solutions at each vanity, a dedicated linen closet, and a separate water closet with quartz countertops and soap accents maximize storage potential.

This sleek and contemporary shower combines thoughtful details with luxurious amenities, creating an inviting spa-like experience at home. This is an eclectic style modern kitchen with Ikea cabinets in a dark blue-grey with Shaker style doors. The edge treatment on the soapstone is our standard offering - eased edge.
