Our McLean customers wanted to update their home before putting it on the real estate market - they knew one of the key factors was the remodeling of the three bathrooms. All were in desperate need of a design re-do. Despite the small square footage that limited the bathroom sizes, our design team worked carefully to use the space they did have efficiently and to great effect. The use of tile draws the eye to the floor nd walls, and the color choices are minimal but bold. In addition to the bathroom updates, the lower level of the home received all new flooring and, our customer's dream, a sliding barn door to hide away the laundry room area. Heading into a competitive marketplace, this home will be a gem for the next owners.

I am proud to present New, Stylish, Practical, and just Awesome ) design for your new kid's room. Ta -da... The space in this room is minimal, and it's tough to have two beds there and have a useful and pretty design. This design was built on the idea to have a bed that transforms from king to two tweens and back with ease. I do think most of the time better to keep it as a single bed and, when needed, slide bed over and have two beds. The single bed will give you more space and air in the room. You will have easy access to the closet and a much more comfortable bed to sleep on it. On the left side, we are going to build costume wardrobe style closet On the right side is a column. We install some exposed shelving to bring this architectural element to proportions with the room. Behind the bed, we use accent wallpaper. This particular mural wallpaper looks like fabric has those waves that will softener this room. Also, it brings that three-dimension effect that makes the room look larger without using mirrors. Led lighting over that wall will make shadows look alive. There are some Miami vibes it this picture. Without dominating overall room design, these art graphics are producing luxury filing of living in a tropical paradise. ( Miami Style) On the front is console/table cabinetry. In this combination, it is in line with bed design and the overall geometrical proportions of the room. It is a multi-function. It will be used as a console for a TV/play station and a small table for computer activities. In the end wall in the hallway is a costume made a mirror with Led lights. Girls need mirrors ) Our concept is timeless. We design this room to be the best for any age. We look into the future ) Your girl will grow very fast. And you do not have to change a thing in this room. This room will be comfortable and stylish for the next 20 years. I do guarantee that ) Your daughter will love it!

The design of this home drew upon historical styles, preserving the essentials of the original movement while updating these elements with clean lines and modern materials. Peers Homestead drew upon the American Farmhouse. The architectural design was based on several factors: orientation with views and connection to seasonal water elements, glass cubes, simplistic form and material palette, and steel accents with structure and cladding. To capture views, the floor to ceiling windows in the great room bring in the natural environment into the home and were oriented to face the Spanish Peaks. The great room’s simple gable roof and square room shape, accompanied by the large glass walls and a high ceiling, create an impressive glass cube effect. In trying to weave together these different floors, the aim of the project was to transform the stairs and steps into a fluid space that combines transition and rest. The steps were designed to be integrated with the architecture, cantilevering from the wall and almost disappearing. The living room on the ground plane folds into the garden through steps and a full-window wall, effectively extending the garden into the living room. From the garden to the entry level, the stairs were transformed into a platform and space for meditation within the open-space living room, dining room and kitchen. The introduction of a skylight midway through the length of the triplex permits natural light to flow to the back of the home, blending into the natural light coming in through the window facing the garden. This house features an open concept floor plan, with expansive windows that truly capture the 180-degree lake views. The classic design elements, such as white cabinets, neutral paint colors, and natural wood tones, help make this house feel bright and welcoming year round.

This central courtyard gives natural light to all the lower ground living areas. The floor to ceiling sliding doors have an ultra slim 20mm sightline with minimal detailing in keeping with the modern house design.

Example of an eclectic dining room design in Portland

Two mid-century modern wooden chairs with woven seats and backs face the viewer. One chair has a fluffy sheepskin draped over it. Three framed prints of trees hang in a horizontal line above the chairs. The prints are similar in style, with muted earthy tones and simple compositions. The frames are wood with a light finish. The overall effect is one of warmth and simplicity.

If you’re looking to give your kitchen a face lift then read on as the following post details a very simple grout treatment that I think you will agree really refreshed the look of this kitchen in Edinburgh. In fact if you’re thinking of selling your property this quick but effective grout treatment will really make your tiles look a lot more appealing. Normally to get grout clean we recommend a good scrub with Tile Doctor Pro-Clean however in some cases the staining cannot be removed completely and sometimes the customer simply wants a different grout colour. In either case whether its wall or floor grout the solution is to re-colour the grout with a Grout Colourant which are available in ten popular colours. As you can see in the photographs above the Kitchen Wall Grout for this ceramic tiled kitchen in Edinburgh was a grey colour which looked dirty and was not very attractive. The first step before grout colouring is to give the grout a good scrub with Tile Doctor Pro-Clean to get it as clean as possible before applying the colourant. The grout was then wiped and then allowed to dry ready for the colourant to be applied. Once the grout was ready the colourant was run evenly along the grout line in thin coats so it didn’t run, working the brush backwards and forwards and taking care to minimise the amount of colourant left on the tile. One coat is usually sufficient but you may need to apply a number of coats if the original grout colour was quite dark. I think you will agree from the photographs the white colourant gave the tiles a really fresh feel and gave the impression the tiling was recent.
