They decided that installing a freestanding bathtub in an alcove they created was the best option to enjoy the best of both worlds. The end result is simply stunning. She completely transformed the room by wrapping the entire bathroom in tile. A beautiful mix marble, and tile adds dimension to the entire design. Andria integrated some Earthy elements as well, some greenery and wood trim. Natural light enters from the window centered above the T & L Adoni freestanding jetted bathtub providing a view of the garden. The Trenton Room was the smallest of the three bedrooms. In order to have both a writing desk, and a chair suitable for reading, a reproduction secretary desk was used in the space, allowing for more room next to it for the chair, which can be used for reading, or pulled up to the secretary desk as needed. Each desk has a writing pad, a guest book about the space, and with helpful guest information. On top of this desk is another New Jersey soldier. The New Jersey Blues ( the 3rd New Jersey) wore a distinctive blue uniform coat with red facings. This inspired the red banding on the window treatment. This project is a customer case located in Manila, the Philippines. The client's residence is a 95-square-meter apartment. The overall interior design style chosen by the client is a fusion of Nanyang and French vintage styles, combining retro elegance. The entire home features a color palette of charcoal gray, ink green, and brown coffee, creating a unique and exotic ambiance. The client desired suitable pendant lights for the living room, dining area, and hallway, and based on their preferences, we selected pendant lights made from bamboo and rattan materials for the open kitchen and hallway. French vintage pendant lights were chosen for the living room. Upon receiving the products, the client expressed complete satisfaction, as these lighting fixtures perfectly matched their requirements. I am sharing this case with everyone in the hope that it provides inspiration and ideas for your own interior decoration projects.

The entry and stair landing sets the tone with warm wood stair treads, soft neutral wall tones, and patterned tile flooring that adds visual interest while standing up to daily use. The laundry and utility room blends practicality with thoughtful design, offering custom cabinetry, generous counter space, and durable flooring in a layout that makes everyday tasks feel effortless and organized. From guest accommodations to utility spaces, this lower level was designed to feel intentional—not secondary—resulting in a flexible, refined environment that enhances the home’s overall functionality and comfort.

When you see the before photos of this kitchen, the finished product is nearly unrecognizable! This is because the original kitchen was 10x10, and wall separated the kitchen area from the eating area. Opening up the 2 spaces was exactly what this new kitchen needed! Since the dining area was directly adjacent to the family room, the designer at Advance Design created a low wall of matching decorative book case cabinets with a granite top to create separation needed between the spaces. This bank also eloquently held a beautifully wood appointed supporting column necessary for the structural ceiling load. The focal point of the new kitchen is the hand-painted backsplash centered under a wooden hood in the chef’s special cooking area. A completely functional island now has space for several stools, and even has a decorative touch with the shelving unit facing the eating area. The space next to the refrigerator became an efficiently organized bill paying area for the lady of the house, complete with pull out file drawers hidden behind matching kitchen cabinets. Replacing the “black hole” of a pantry; pull out shelves grace the interior of new pantry units suitable for the family of five busy people. Existing hardwood oak was repaired and refinished on the entire first floor. A light patterned gold granite works effortlessly with the tumbled marble backsplash that enjoys hints of weathered iron looking details that coordinate nicely with the cabinetry hardware. What makes this kitchen special is how elegant it appears despite the rustic feel of the knotty alder cabinetry. Clean design lines lend an air of sophistication to the otherwise “rustic” looking materials. Now this active family can enjoy the open space, cooking and hanging out together is now an enjoyable pastime.

Creating an elegant spa-like retreat suitable for a multi-million-dollar high-rise condo was the request of our client. Leaving the details to the design team, our client simply said she envisioned a bright white contemporary design with warm contrasts, a bathtub that is actually inviting, and the ability to look out at the waterfront view from the shower. Given the “triangle” shape of the bathroom, we decided to design the bathroom around straight lines to juxtapose the angles in a modern aesthetic.
