camilleriparismode projects and design team were approached to rethink a previously unused double height room in a wonderful villa. the lower part of the room was planned as a sitting and dining area, the sub level above as a tv den and games room. as the occupants enjoy their time together as a family, as well as their shared love of books, a floor-to-ceiling library was an ideal way of using and linking the large volume. the large library covers one wall of the room spilling into the den area above. it is given a sense of movement by the differing sizes of the verticals and shelves, broken up by randomly placed closed cupboards. the floating marble fireplace at the base of the library unit helps achieve a feeling of lightness despite it being a complex structure, while offering a cosy atmosphere to the family area below. the split-level den is reached via a solid oak staircase, below which is a custom made wine room. the staircase is concealed from the dining area by a high wall, painted in a bold colour on which a collection of paintings is displayed. photos by: brian grech

Master Ensuite bathroom with custom floating double sink vanity with drawers, free standing tub and faucet, walk in shower with frameless glass, built-in niche, large format Italian Made tiles, Aqua Brass fixtures.

This dramatic open-riser staircase serves as the architectural centerpiece of this ultramodern home. Floating between crisp white stringers, the thick solid oak treads create bold visual contrast with their rich black stain. The natural metal balustrade adds an ultramodern touch to the staircase, while the open risers allow natural light to cascade through the multiple levels of the home. The interplay of contrasting colors and textures establishes the modern character of the home, proving that a staircase can define the spaces around it rather than just simply connecting them. 1976-2026 © Century Stair Company

Vanity stools and benches are the perfect way to include seating into rooms. A vanity char is very popular to couple with a bedroom vanity, as a place to sit during one’s beauty routine. A new vanity bench or stool may be just what you need to make every day feel like a trip to the beauty salon. In addition to vanity stools, you should also look at our Shower Benches Seats. A shower stool seat is one of the most comfortable things you can imaging in your bathroom.
