transFORM’s custom designed wall beds provide comfort, convenience and charm without sacrificing valuable floor space. This multifunctional unit was made with White High Gloss and complementing Latte and Light Driftwood finishes. Tastefully accented with large handle, chrome finished hardware and paired with a pop of color, this neutral combination proves to be anything but dull. Convenience and functionality play a big role in the design of this unit. A wall bed is a perfect addition to any spot that doubles as a guest room or has a limited amount of floor space. Converting your wall bed is a stress-free operation that requires very little effort. In just a few seconds you can unfold this convenient bed into instant sleeping arrangements, complete with a comfortable standard-size mattress. Our convertible design makes it simple to fold out the bed and tuck it back away when not in use. This dual-purpose unit was designed with tons of cabinetry and shelving for extra storage. With two large cabinets, you can easily hang a long skirt with enough room underneath to store your favorite footwear. Front to back pull-out hanging rods provide ample hanging space in a shallow cabinet. Visualizing your available clothing options face on will cut down the time it takes to mix and match the perfect ensemble. This design also includes plenty of deep drawer storage, which can be a useful place for storing spare linens. Top shelves are a perfect way to personalize your room with mementos, collectibles and home décor. Open shelving offers a substantial amount of depth, allowing you to display your exclusive handbags. Conveniently kept in the lower cabinet is a hide away ironing board. The drawer mounted ironing board slides out when needed and easily folds up when not in use. It also rotates, which gives you the freedom to position it where you feel most comfortable. Having necessities readily available can make tedious house chores a little more enjoyable. This design is completed with integrated LED lighting. Positioned by the bed, touch dimmable LED’s provide mood lighting for your living space. Within the open shelving, recessed LED lights enhance the look of the unit while showcasing your displayed possessions. Our lighting systems offer features such as touch switches and dimmers, which allow you to set the right scene and feel at ease and relaxed at home. Photography by Ken Stabile

Traditional kitchen in rich cherry wood cabinets, granite countertops, and updated linear backsplash in a mix of glass and natural stone tile. Updating this 1980's standard white kitchen included utilizing an empty wall with additional cabinets, choosing a space-saving microwave drawer, extending the work counter and creating a counter height bar area. The bar height extension was a client request to enjoy morning coffee and the spectacular view. Interior Designer: Wanda Pfeiffer Photo credits: Naples Kenny

This master bath was remodeled to allow for two vanities and a freestanding tub. The original master bath was dark and very outdated and featured mauve tile in the shower and a pink marble countertop. Space was borrowed from an adjoining kid's bathroom and an extra wide hallway to give the master bathroom more space. The client loved the thought of using blue as an accent and the layout of the bathroom created the perfect spot to feature a hand glazed blue accent tile. Carrara marble was used on the vanity walls as well as a chimney wall at the end of the tub and the shower. The result is a picture perfect bathroom to relax and enjoy!

In Keswick Estates, our living room space is large enough for the whole family! Enjoy open-concept living, as your living room opens up to the kitchen. 3 large windows provide ample natural light into the living area. The alcoves on either side of the fireplace allow for extra decorating room or the perfect corner to snuggle up with a good book.

Our clients enjoy preparing home cooked meals and baking frequently. Their goal was to create a bright, traffic free space that eliminated collisions and made meal preparation a more pleasurable experience. We also helped them to eliminate counter clutter by adding extra storage throughout.

Beautiful custom European Frameless Shaker style cabinets with a Windswept, Folkstone finish. The counters are a higher group granite for the extra movement and the backsplash is a glass pattern tile. Enjoy!

Trendy deck photo in Portland with decking

This homeowner enjoys bird watching so we installed two extra tall posts for bird feeders. The deck is made of Pecan TimberTech composite decking with a bronze Westbury aluminum railing and posts. There is also a small set of stairs that lead down to the back yard.

A single house that needed the extra touch. A master bathroom that never been touched before transformed into a luxurious bathroom, bright, welcoming, fine bathroom. The couple invested in great materials when they first bought their house so we were able to use the cabinets and reface the kitchen to show fresh and up-to-date look to it. The entire house was painted with a light color to open up the space and make it looks bigger. In order to create a functional living room, we build a media center where now our couple and enjoy movie nights together.

Having a small child, loving to entertain and looking to declutter and kid-proof the gathering spaces of their home in the quaint village of Rockville Centre, Long Island, a stone’s throw from Manhattan, our client’s main objective was to have their living room and den transformed with a family friendly home makeover with mid-century modern tones boasting a formal, yet relaxed spirit Stepping into the home we found their living room and den both architecturally well appointed yet in need of modern transitional furniture pieces and the pops of color our clients admired, as there was a substantial amount of cool, cold grays in the rooms. Decor Aid designer Vivian C. approached the design and placement of the pieces sourced to be kid-friendly while remaining sophisticated and practical for entertaining. “We played off of the clients love for blush pinks, mid-century modern and turquoise. We played with the use of gold and silver metals to mix it up.” In the living room, we used the prominent bay window and its illuminating natural light as the main architectural focal point, while the fireplace and mantels soft white tone helped inform the minimalist color palette for which we styled the room around. To add warmth to the living room we played off of the clients love for blush pinks and turquoise while elevating the room with flashes of gold and silver metallic pieces. For a sense of play and to tie the space together we punctuated the kid-friendly living room with an eclectic juxtaposition of colors and materials, from a beautifully patchworked geometric cowhide rug from All Modern, to a whimsical mirror placed over an unexpected, bold geometric credenza, to the blush velvet barrel chair and abstract blue watercolor pillows. “When sourcing furniture and objects, we chose items that had rounded edges and were shatter proof as it was vital to keep each room’s decor childproof.” Vivian ads. Their vision for the den remained chic, with comfort and practical functionality key to create an area for the young family to come together. For the den, our main challenge was working around the pre-existing dark gray sectional sofa. To combat its chunkiness, we played off of the hues in the cubist framed prints placed above and focused on blue and orange accents which complement and play off of each other well. We selected orange storage ottomans in easy to clean, kid-friendly leather to maximize space and functionality. To personalize the appeal of the den we included black and white framed family photos. In the end, the result created a fun, relaxed space where our clients can enjoy family moments or watch a game while taking in the scenic view of their backyard. For harmony between the rooms, the overall tone for each room is mid-century modern meets bold, yet classic contemporary through the use of mixed materials and fabrications including marble, stone, metals and plush velvet, creating a cozy yet sophisticated enough atmosphere for entertaining family and friends and raising a young children. “The result od this family friendly room was really fantastic! Adding some greenery, more pillows and throws really made the space pop.” Vivian C. Decor Aid’s Designer

Imagine a dark, small kitchen transformed into a bright, enjoyable living space! Together, the kitchen designers at Chester County Kitchen & Bath and the client collaborated and strived to achieve a modern, bright space playfully interjecting light and warm tones throughout the kitchen. Concept: Transform a dark, dated kitchen with dramatic changes... The client doesn't miss their small enclosed space. They are now welcomed by an inviting space, featuring an island with seating and extra storage/work area that opens now into the family room. By making great design changes such as rearranging the placement of the refrigerator, and choosing light colored counters and cabinets the kitchen is open and bright. Additionally, the earth tone tile backsplash contrasts the buttercream cabinets- giving the space texture and depth!

Cocalico Builders, Ltd.: This expansive space is the perfect place to sit relax and enjoy yourself. The knee was constructed of stone that was salvaged from an old barn in the area. It allows for extra seating. The fire place stands 7 feet high and is approximately 4 foot wide. The floor was hand laid by a local mason using different sizes of slate to create a unique pattern. Although it appears that the houses are very close in this photo, trees were planted disguise the neighbors property.

Every detail of this new construction home was planned and thought of. From the door knobs to light fixtures this home turned into a modern farmhouse master piece! The Highland Park family of 6 aimed to create an oasis for their extended family and friends to enjoy. We added a large sectional, extra island space and a spacious outdoor setup to complete this goal. Our tile selections added special details to the bathrooms, mudroom and laundry room. The lighting lit up the gorgeous wallpaper and paint selections. To top it off the accessories were the perfect way to accentuate the style and excitement within this home! This project is truly one of our favorites. Hopefully we can enjoy cocktails in the pool soon!
