This bathroom started as a kid's bathroom but by the time the project got to the point to be finished the kid's were much older. For this reason I decided to keep the fun green/blue/white circle mosaic tile and combined it with a large format porcelain tile. The living room is located between the front and side entrance of the house. The glass partition was installed to prevent cold air drafts into the living area while providing a visual of the area. All windows and door moulding are made of walnut. The gas fireplace adds a warm touch to the living room. The pivoting coffee table allows for seating flexibility. The concept was to blend the decor with the finishes of the house providing contrast with certain key elements only. These elements can be changed easily for a nice fresh look. All other items were kept neutral. A square dining table was required in order to promote equality for all members of the family.
