Brad Haines knows a thing or two about building things. The intensely creative and innovative founder of Oklahoma City-based Haines Capital is the driving force behind numerous successful companies including Bank 7 (NASDAQ BSVN), which proudly reported record year-end earnings since going public in September of last year. He has beautifully built, renovated, and personally thumb printed all of his commercial spaces and residences. “Our theory is to keep things sophisticated but comfortable,” Brad says.
That’s the exact approach he took in his personal haven in Nichols Hills, Oklahoma. Painstakingly renovated over the span of two years by Candeleria Foster Design-Build of Oklahoma City, his home boasts museum-white, authentic Venetian plaster walls and ceilings; charcoal tiled flooring; imported marble in the master bath; and a pretty kitchen you’ll want to emulate.
Reminiscent of an edgy luxury hotel, it is a vibe conjured by Cantoni designer Nicole George. “The new remodel plan was all about opening up the space and layering monochromatic color with lots of texture,” says Nicole, who collaborated with Brad on two previous projects. “The color palette is minimal, with charcoal, bone, amber, stone, linen and leather.”

Nicole helped oversee space planning and selection of interior finishes, lighting, furnishings and fine art for the entire 7,000-square-foot home. It is now decked top-to-bottom in pieces sourced from Cantoni, beginning with the custom-ordered console at entry and a pair of Glacier Suspension fixtures over the stairwell. “Every angle in the house is the result of a critical thought process,” Nicole says. “We wanted to make sure each room would be purposeful.”
To that end, “we reintroduced the ‘parlor,’ and also redefined the formal dining area as a bar and drink lounge with enough space for 10 guests to comfortably dine,” Nicole says. Brad’s parlor holds the Swing sectional customized in a silky, soft-hand charcoal leather crafted by prominent Italian leather furnishings company Gamma. Nicole paired it with the Kate swivel chair customized in a light grey leather, the sleek DK writing desk, and the Black & More bar cabinet by Malerba. “Nicole has a special design talent and adapts quickly to what we expect and like,” Brad says.
To create the restaurant-worthy dining space, Nicole brought in a black-satin glass and marble-topped dining table and mohair-velvet chairs, all by Italian maker Gallotti & Radice. Guests can take a post-dinner respite on the adjoining room’s Aston sectional by Gamma.
In the formal living room, Nicole paired Cantoni’s Fashion Affair club chairs with the Black & More cocktail table, and sofas sourced from Désirée, an Italian furniture upholstery company that creates cutting-edge yet comfortable pieces. The color-coordinating kitchen and breakfast area, meanwhile, hold a set of Guapa counter stools in ash grey leather, and the Ray dining table with light-grey leather Cattelan Italia chairs. The expansive loggia also is ideal for entertaining and lounging with the Versa grand sectional, the Ido cocktail table in grey aged walnut and Dolly chairs customized in black nubuck leather. Nicole made most of the design decisions, but, “she took my suggestions seriously and then put me in my place,” Brad says.
She had the master bedroom’s Marlon bed by Gamma customized in a remarkably soft black leather with a matching stitch and paired it with onyx gloss Black & More nightstands. “The furnishings absolutely complement the style,” Brad says. “They are high-quality and have a modern flair, but at the end of the day, are still comfortable and user-friendly.”
The end result is a home Brad not only enjoys, but one that Nicole also finds exceptional. “I honestly love every part of this house,” Nicole says. “Working with Brad is always an adventure but a privilege that I take very seriously, from the beginning of the design process to installation.”

This luxury kitchen remodel was designed to blend timeless craftsmanship with modern functionality. The centerpiece of the space is the custom rift white oak cabinetry, bringing warmth and natural texture while maintaining a clean, transitional aesthetic. Every cabinet was custom-built to maximize storage and create a seamless, furniture-quality appearance.
The kitchen features dramatic natural stone countertops with bold movement and rich blue-gray veining, paired with a full-height gray tile backsplash that adds texture without competing with the beauty of the stone. A handcrafted custom wood vent hood creates a striking focal point above the professional-grade Wolf double oven range, while a built-in refrigerator and wine refrigerator complete the luxury appliance package.
A large center island provides generous workspace, casual seating, and additional storage, making the kitchen ideal for both entertaining and everyday living. The oversized stainless steel farmhouse sink is paired with a matte black pull-down faucet, creating a sophisticated contrast against the natural wood cabinetry. Brushed brass cabinet hardware introduces a refined finishing touch that complements the warm wood tones throughout the space.
Layered lighting, including recessed ceiling lights and under-cabinet LED lighting, enhances the beauty of the materials while providing exceptional task lighting. Large-format porcelain tile flooring offers durability with a contemporary look that ties the entire design together.
This custom kitchen demonstrates how thoughtful design, premium materials, and expert craftsmanship can create a space that is both highly functional and beautifully timeless. Every detail was carefully selected to deliver a luxury kitchen that will remain elegant for years to come.

The Borza Residence in Braselton, Georgia is a custom luxury home that blends timeless European-inspired design with modern family living. From soaring slate rooflines and hand-laid stonework to elegant arched entrances, every exterior detail creates lasting curb appeal.
Inside, a dramatic two-story great room, vaulted wood ceilings, and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace create a warm, inviting space designed for everyday living and entertaining.
From the initial concept through fully coordinated construction documents, every element was thoughtfully developed to bring the Borza family's vision to life.

Custom molding and casing details around doors and windows faithfully replicate the home's original 1920s design, showcasing exceptional finish carpentry skills. In the hallway, custom cabinets were created to conceal the laundry machines and provide convenient folding and storage space. Oak hardwood flooring was refinished and replaced where needed.

“It’s hard to believe these two sets of photos are actually the same space! The 1950s “modern” kitchen was tiny and dark, and the adjoining family room went largely unused by the family. Yet the owners love to cook and entertain, so this kitchen needed to go! Designer Fabrice Garson removed the wall between the two spaces and created one multi-purpose space: an open kitchen with abundant storage and prep space at the large range and island; a banquette for casual family meals or homework; and a separate table for dinner parties. Because they’d be losing their formal dining room, Fabrice recommended adding the coffered ceiling to lend an air of elegance to the new space. This once-gloomy cave morphed into an airy, luminous room. Pops of dark blue on the island, the banquette upholstery, and the banquette wallpaper add a fun element to temper the traditional tone of the inset cabinetry. And the mixture of stainless appliances with the brushed gold faucet, gold accents on the pendant fixtures, and the bronze crystal chandelier create an eclectic but elegant look.” (This blurb was part of Bilotta’s Blog Post written by Paulette Gambacorta)
The finished space features Signature Custom Cabinetry in a mix of white paint on the perimeter and a custom navy paint on the island. All hardware is a mixed of brushed nickel knobs and cup pulls. The countertops are Ceasarstone’s Bianco Drift and the backsplash is a classic and clean white ceramic subway tile. Appliances are all by Thermador with the exception of the Best hood insert which is hidden by the custom white painted hood. The sink is an apron front by Kohler in cast iron with a white enamel finish and is accented by a brushed copper faucet and water filter. The decorative lighting adding to the elegance of the space is by EuroStyle. The custom-built banquette and coffered ceiling were both designed by Fabrice and brought to life by his long time contractor Breton Contracting.

The front of the house exudes modern sophistication with its striking stone columns, designer staircase, and custom-welded handrails. Gas lanterns flank the entrance, casting a warm and inviting glow that enhances the home's curb appeal. The designer staircase, with its intricate detailing and modern lines, serves as a focal point, guiding guests upward in style. This combination of elements not only elevates the exterior aesthetics but also reflects a commitment to exceptional design and craftsmanship.

A floor to ceiling wood encased fireplace, curved wood veneer display wall, custom headboard and custom light fixtures add exceptional modern accents to this somewhat traditional home. Already filled with intricately detailed antiques and special furniture, Blank and Cables created restrained, yet modern feeling pieces that seamlessly matched and highlighted the home’s pre-existing style.
This is the in-progress photo of the wood encased fireplace is a mastery of modern meets traditional. With steel and wood surrounding the fireplace, the room blends well within its expansive space with high ceilings. Furthermore, the custom designed cabinets close off the conventional storage and replace it with a flush wall that seems to be part of the wall.

Teresa & Duane Brunot wanted to update their small 1980's kitchen. With the help of our talented designer, Tracy West, and ideas found on Houzz.com, the Brunot's created their dream kitchen. Our "exceptional crew" was able to bring the design to life with traditional raised panel doors with rope molding and glaze. Countertop selections include Napoli, Rainforest, and Atlantis granite. A custom made mantle was added between the built-in bookshelves. A beautiful wet bar was added to also improve the living space.

"I met Tracy West through a friend of mine. I emailed Tracy and the very next day we had an appointment. We met with Tracy several times before we signed our contract. She never tired of all of our questions, emails, texts and pictures of ideas that we found on Houzz. I've spoken to Brandon O'Hanlon several times and no matter what I asked for, he made a way for it to happen. He is very personable and professional. O'Hanlon Kitchens took our ideas and made it happen. They took my very small 1980's kitchen and turned it into a beautiful open floor plan kitchen. Not only did they do my kitchen, they also replaced my 1980's brick fireplace with a custom mantle (from a picture I found on Houzz) and added built-ins on either side. And it didn't stop there. They also added a wet bar in the room that we like to call the Parlor. I couldn't be happier with my new home. I love coming home and cooking now. I highly recommend Brandon O'Hanlon, Tracy West and their exceptional crew!" Teresa Brunot
