From the hand patina on the cold rolled steel fireplace to the silk wallcovering, shiny mirrored bureau and highly textured wool area rug-- the contrasting materials create an exquisite and unexpected combination.

"If Bryan were to do a house and I were to do a house, they would likely come out different." Gutted and completely redesigned, the bathroom is a perfect compromise between Bryan and Catherine's seemingly opposite design preferences. "I would say my style is more eclectic," Catherine explains. "I like curvy lines whereas Bryan likes things straight and sleek and clean." By keeping the color scheme consistent throughout the space, the elements work together seamlessly. Plain square tiles exude a vintage vibe when offset into a subway pattern and set against dark grout, while stainless penny tiles and open storage lend an industrial quality to the room. The addition of a chandelier and flowy shower curtains soften the space, exemplifying the definition of their style.

This boys' room reflects a love of the great outdoors with special attention paid to Minnesota's favorite lumberjack, Paul Bunyan. It was designed to easily grow with the child and has many different shelves, cubbies, nooks, and crannies for him to stow away his trinkets and display his treasures.

This new construction project located in the metro-west Boston area perfectly exemplifies the transitional style. Mouser Centra white beaded inset cabinets along the perimeter of the kitchen is softly balanced by the gunmetal island, both topped with LG Viatera Racoco quartz countertops. Graceful and timeless, the silhouettes of the Hathaway collection exemplify rare, classic beauty. The rich tobacco finish gives each piece a polished look defined by subtle distressing and antique brass hardware for character.

When re-creating this families living spaces it was crucial to provide a timeless yet contemporary living room for adult entertaining and a fun colorful family room for family moments. Inspiration for an industrial open concept living room remodel in Providence with gray walls

Located in Whitefish, Montana near one of our nation’s most beautiful national parks, Glacier National Park, Great Northern Lodge was designed and constructed with a grandeur and timelessness that is rarely found in much of today’s fast paced construction practices. Influenced by the solid stacked masonry constructed for Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park, Great Northern Lodge uniquely exemplifies Parkitecture style masonry. The owner had made a commitment to quality at the onset of the project and was adamant about designating stone as the most dominant material. The criteria for the stone selection was to be an indigenous stone that replicated the unique, maroon colored Sperry Chalet stone accompanied by a masculine scale. Great Northern Lodge incorporates centuries of gained knowledge on masonry construction with modern design and construction capabilities and will stand as one of northern Montana’s most distinguished structures for centuries to come.

If you were to take the splash of pink out of this bathroom, it would still be beautiful, but you wouldn't be staring at it like you are now. The richness of the colored cabinets makes this room feel spa like and the mixture of stone, tile and mosaics exemplify that mixing materials is the way to go.
