Modern mountain aesthetic in this fully exposed custom designed ranch. Exterior brings together lap siding and stone veneer accents with welcoming timber columns and entry truss. Garage door covered with standing seam metal roof supported by brackets. Large timber columns and beams support a rear covered screened porch. (Ryan Hainey)

This dramatic vaulted great room centers on a soaring stone fireplace and a wall of peaked windows overlooking the trees, creating a striking mountain modern focal point. Reclaimed Wood Paneling covers the entire vaulted ceiling, and Reclaimed Wood Box Beams form the exposed trusses overhead, bringing natural texture and warmth into this open, light filled space.
Every piece of reclaimed wood at Manomin Resawn Timbers is salvaged from 19th and early 20th century barns, factories, and warehouses, structures built during the Industrial Revolution from old growth hardwoods that grew slower and denser than the trees available today. Through our detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, that history is preserved and prepared for a new life in modern homes.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a space like this one, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood paneling and box beams to fit your vision. Affectionately called The Magnolia, a reference to the architect's Southern upbringing, this project was a grass roots exploration of farmhouse architecture. Located in Phoenix, Arizona’s idyllic Arcadia neighborhood, the home gives a nod to the area’s citrus orchard history.
Echoing the past while embracing current millennial design expectations, this just-complete speculative family home hosts four bedrooms, an office, open living with a separate “dirty kitchen”, and the Stone Bar. Positioned in the Northwestern portion of the site, the Stone Bar provides entertainment for the interior and exterior spaces. With retracting sliding glass doors and windows above the bar, the space opens up to provide a multipurpose playspace for kids and adults alike.
Nearly as eyecatching as the Camelback Mountain view is the stunning use of exposed beams, stone, and mill scale steel in this grass roots exploration of farmhouse architecture. White painted siding, white interior walls, and warm wood floors communicate a harmonious embrace in this soothing, family-friendly abode.

We love this expansive ranch kitchen's details - exposed beams, skylights, plastered range hood, and slab backsplash. Walls and ceiling painted in Benjamin Moore "Wind's Breath".

A two-story living room provides a light, open, airy feel for this Delaware beach house. Reclaimed wood beams trim the vaulted ceiling and are used vertically to cover support beams on either side of the breakfast bar at the far end of the room, visually setting the kitchen apart while still maintaining the open design.

Example of a mid-sized urban walk-out laminate floor and brown floor basement design in Atlanta with brown walls and no fireplace

The idea for this kitchen was rustic country and the recycled beams and knotted alder cabinets complete the look.
We expanded the counter and designed it with two tiers to give a seating area without taking space away from the kitchen.

Reclaimed wood box beams bring warmth and antique character to the ceiling of this contemporary wine cellar, their naturally weathered tones softening the sleek lines of a modern wine room lined floor to ceiling with bottle storage. It is an unexpected application that works beautifully, the aged patina and honest grain of these antique timbers adding a sense of depth and history to a space designed around some of the finest things in life. Sourced from 19th and early 20th century structures, these box beams carry more than a century of natural character that no manufactured material can replicate. Through our process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, Manomin Resawn Timbers prepares these antique timbers for any application, expected or not.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to add reclaimed wood box beams to a wine cellar or specialty room, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002.
