A builder basic kitchen gets a makeover and we are excited to share another kitchen completed by Bonnie of Signature Designs Kitchen Bath.
We have created a extraordinary custom kitchen which use to be a builder base box. I love a nice large kitchen with tons of storage and prep space and this kitchen delivers on some extra bells and whistles as well.
The appliances are amazing in this kitchen with a 48" wolf range with a custom two toned brass and washed metal hood center stage.
The cooking center cant be complete until you add the wolf steam unit and Miele built in coffee center.
Behind the dark cabinetry are the Subzero refrigerator and freezer columns covered with cabinetry panels.
It was the clients desire to add a full height wine cooler that was integrated into the kitchen layout.

A designer's Home.
When it comes to designer your very own house from scratch, there is so much more to think about, budget, style, materials, space, square footage, positioning of doors & windows, the list goes on and on. Let's just say that from conception to final this home took over a year.
7 months to design and 7 months to build. So basically the lesson learned: Is be patient, consider loads of extras and put in a lot of your own time. Was it worth it - YES and I would do it again.

Looking for a nice clean crown molding, but what something different? These homeowners did just that with a simple clean flat molding applied to the wall and ceiling to create this look.

This small dated kitchen was transformed with new everything! Although the basic footprint stayed the same, the skilled CCKAB kitchen team removed counter tops and cabinets that divided the kitchen from the eating area. We also removed the soffits over the cabinets and kitchen table, and by relocating the soil pipes above, it gave the small space an open feel.
The Stow kitchen needed more wall space. So...we closed the the entrance to the dining room to provide more wall space and installed a double wall oven. The central focal point of there new, gorgeous kitchen island, providing extra counter space, storage and seating.
The modern appliances, new cabinetry, granite counters and sleek range hood all work together to give this kitchen the wow factor! Wow!
Features included:
Fieldstone Cabinets, Bristol, flat panel style with a full overlay. Color: Maple with a caramel stain.
Colonial Espresso granite countertops
Stainless steel appliance
Custom built Wainscot in Dining Room.

This client came to us wanting some help with updating the master bath in their home. Their primary goals were to increase the size of the shower, add a rain head, add a freestanding tub and overall freshen the feel of the space.
The existing layout of the bath worked well, so we left the basic footprint the same, but increased the size of the shower and added a freestanding tub on a bit of an angle which allowed for some additional storage.
One of the most important things on the wish list was adding a rainhead in the shower, but this was not an easy task with the angled ceiling. We came up with the solution of using an extra long wall-mounted shower arm that was reinforced with a meal bracket attached the ceiling. This did the trick, and no extra framing or insulation was required to make it work.
The materials selected for the space are classic and fresh. Large format white oriental marble is used throughout the bath, on the floor in a herrinbone pattern and in a staggered brick pattern on the walls. Alder cabinets with a gray stain contrast nicely with the white marble, while shiplap detail helps unify the space and gives it a casual and cozy vibe. Storage solutions include an area for towels and other necessities at the foot of the tub, roll out shelves and out storage in the vanities and a custom niche and shaving ledge in the shower. We love how just a few simple changes can make such a great impact!

These bathrooms, shared by teenage sisters, needed an update from the girly bright pink on the walls to a contemporary young adult look. The rooms were given a trendy gray and white makeover with white shaker cabinets, modern calacatta tiling and popular super white granite countertops. This kitchen was dark and divided before RR Redesign came in to help. This home had a pretty basic 90"s floor plan. Removing a wall between the kitchen and the Dining room was something that my clients contemplated mainly because of cost. I believe the investment was well worth it. A half wall would not have delivered this view. Top of the line appliances, custom cabinets and quartz counter tops are a home owners dream. Mixing and matching high end and affordable tile and a beautiful touch to the space. The homeowners found the decorative dining/poker table for years of family memories. My favorite accent is the extra large pendant lights. The navy blue island cabinets pull in the homeowners favorite color. Our recommendations of decorative cabinet hardware dress up the shaker style doors. A space they will love for many years.

After moving into this beautiful SPEC home, the homeowners came back to us to finish the basement—and we were happy to help. This project added a significant amount of extra living space, built with the same attention to detail and quality you’ll find on the main level.
Highlights include:
◦ A full custom wet bar with a large island, full-size fridge, sink, and a beautiful arched detail overhead—basically a second kitchen, perfect for entertaining.
◦ A built-in fireplace and entertainment center that makes the space feel cozy, polished, and ready for game nights or movie marathons.
◦ A fully equipped home gym featuring custom wall detailing.
◦ A full bathroom finish with high-end touches.
◦ And generous unfinished storage space still remaining—something this floorplan naturally offers.

Project by Studio H:T principal in charge Brad Tomecek (now with Tomecek Studio Architecture). This project questions the need for excessive space and challenges occupants to be efficient. Two shipping containers saddlebag a taller common space that connects local rock outcroppings to the expansive mountain ridge views. The containers house sleeping and work functions while the center space provides entry, dining, living and a loft above. The loft deck invites easy camping as the platform bed rolls between interior and exterior. The project is planned to be off-the-grid using solar orientation, passive cooling, green roofs, pellet stove heating and photovoltaics to create electricity.
