The final design brings together rich, earthy tones that compliment the surrounding trees and natural landscape. Pecky Cypress garage doors add warmth and texture, while the carefully chosen paint, trim, stone, and metal roof create a harmonious and timeless look. The result is a stunning exterior that feels seamlessly connected to its environment.

The homeowner's one request was for a live-edge table and we knew we couldn't let her down! Our team worked with El Dorado Woodworks to bring our vision for the dining table to life and when we unveiled the piece at the final reveal, our client was beyond thrilled with the results. With a live-edge top and brass base, this custom dining table serves as the defining element of the dining room. A gorgeous contemporary kitchen design was created by deleting the range, microwave and incorporating a cooktop, under counter oven and hood. The microwave was relocated and an under counter microwave was incorporated into the design. These appliances were moved to balance the design and create a perfect symmetry. The washer & dryer were incorporated within the cabinetry so they would not invade the visual appeal. Products used were Poggenpohl High Gloss Cubanit with automated horizontal bi-fold uppers. Slim line handles was used on the cabinetry to maintain the minimalistic design. A large island designed to create a bold yet appealing horizontal design. Quartz tops were used. Existing features, like materials and gabled dormers with their gabled windows were used as unifying elements. Matching cedar siding was used in the new wing together with stone veneer, new Arts & Crafts windows, decorative brackets and tapered timber columns. This lovely Nantucket-style home was craving an update and one that worked well with today's family and lifestyle. The remodel included a full kitchen remodel, a reworking of the back entrance to include the conversion of a tuck-under garage stall into a rec room and full bath, a lower level mudroom equipped with a dog wash and a dumbwaiter to transport heavy groceries to the kitchen, an upper-level mudroom with enclosed lockers, which is off the powder room and laundry room, and finally, a remodel of one of the upper-level bathrooms. The homeowners wanted to preserve the structure and style of the home which resulted in pulling out the Nantucket inherent bones as well as creating those cozy spaces needed in Minnesota, resulting in the perfect marriage of styles and a remodel that works today's busy family.

Green is the New Neutral We combined white oak in a natural finish with a neutral palette of green, cream, and taupe to create a minimal and tranquil primary bedroom. Simple, clean. This walk-in closet, though large, had design challenges that required detailed planning. A drop down attic stair access, safes that secured to studs and shelves, doors that swing into the space. The results! Lucite doors cover the shoes which are out of the way when the stairs are down. The island also does not block the stairs and still has a bench to sit while selecting clothes for the day. The tall mirrored panels cover folded clothes on shelves and allow for a final check before heading out for the day!
