This older couple residing in a golf course community wanted to expand their living space and finish up their unfinished basement for entertainment purposes and more. Their wish list included: exercise room, full scale movie theater, fireplace area, guest bedroom, full size master bath suite style, full bar area, entertainment and pool table area, and tray ceiling. After major concrete breaking and running ground plumbing, we used a dead corner of basement near staircase to tuck in bar area. A dual entrance bathroom from guest bedroom and main entertainment area was placed on far wall to create a large uninterrupted main floor area. A custom barn door for closet gives extra floor space to guest bedroom. New movie theater room with multi-level seating, sound panel walls, two rows of recliner seating, 120-inch screen, state of art A/V system, custom pattern carpeting, surround sound & in-speakers, custom molding and trim with fluted columns, custom mahogany theater doors. The bar area includes copper panel ceiling and rope lighting inside tray area, wrapped around cherry cabinets and dark granite top, plenty of stools and decorated with glass backsplash and listed glass cabinets. The main seating area includes a linear fireplace, covered with floor to ceiling ledger stone and an embedded television above it. The new exercise room with two French doors, full mirror walls, a couple storage closets, and rubber floors provide a fully equipped home gym. The unused space under staircase now includes a hidden bookcase for storage and A/V equipment. New bathroom includes fully equipped body sprays, large corner shower, double vanities, and lots of other amenities. Carefully selected trim work, crown molding, tray ceiling, wainscoting, wide plank engineered flooring, matching stairs, and railing, makes this basement remodel the jewel of this community.

This 3,569-square foot, 3-story new build was part of Dallas's Green Build Program. This minimalist rocker pad boasts beautiful energy efficiency, painted brick, wood beams and serves as the perfect backdrop to Dallas' favorite landmarks near popular attractions, like White Rock Lake and Deep Ellum; a melting pot of art, music, and nature. Walk into this home and you're greeted with industrial accents and minimal Mid-Century Modern flair. Expansive windows flood the open-floor plan living room/dining area in light. The homeowner wanted a pristine space that reflects his love of alternative rock bands. To bring this into his new digs, all the walls were painted white and we added pops of bold colors through custom-framed band posters, paired with velvet accents, vintage-inspired patterns, and jute fabrics. A modern take on hippie style with masculine appeal. A gleaming example of how eclectic-chic living can have a place in your modern abode, showcased by nature, music memorabilia and bluesy hues. The bedroom is a masterpiece of contrast. The dark hued walls contrast with the room's luxurious velvet cognac bed. Fluted mid-century furniture is found alongside metal and wood accents with greenery, which help to create an opulent, welcoming atmosphere for this home. “When people come to my home, the first thing they say is that it looks like a magazine! Old-World styling meets Spanish hacienda/beach retreat in this eclectic home. Hand carved trim, specialty turned posts and fluted details frame the bake-center. A counter-top microwave is hidden behind flip-up pocket doors at the 36" wide appliance garage, leaving plenty of space for other small appliances too -- and the extended counter allows ample work-space in front. Both piece were created for storage in the master bedroom suite. Corner media cabinet is designed in white melamine laminate with accented fluted columns and raised panel drawers. This bespoke bar cabinet is a gorgeous design element that draws the eye up to the newly raised ceiling and creates a seamless transition between kitchen and dining nook.

This is a small Powder Room with a reeded glass panel blocking the toilet. The contractor was Jim Hinton with Stillwater Inc. The interior designer was Laurie Beulow with Interiors with Altitude. We provided the vanity and the divider panel. They are walnut wood with a dark stain.

This Banner's Cabinets kitchen is a sight to behold with dozens of decorative accent features such as the lion's head above the range hood to the many capitals, corbels, and fluted columns. The paneled beams in the tray ceiling above the island are designed to match the unique shape of the cabinetry below.
