We were so delighted to be able to bring to life our fresh take and new renovation on a picturesque bathroom. A scene of symmetry, quite pleasing to the eye, the counter and sink area was cultivated to be a clean space, with hidden storage on the side of each elongated mirror, and a center section with seating for getting ready each day. It is highlighted by the shiny silver elements of the hardware and sink fixtures that enhance the sleek lines and look of this vanity area. Lit by a thin elegant sconce and decorated in a pathway of stunning tile mosaic this is the focal point of the master bathroom. Following the tile paths further into the bathroom brings one to the large glass shower, with its own intricate tile detailing within leading up the walls to the waterfall feature. Equipped with everything from shower seating and a towel heater, to a secluded toilet area able to be hidden by a pocket door, this master bathroom is impeccably furnished. Each element contributes to the remarkably classic simplicity of this master bathroom design, making it truly a breath of fresh air. Custom designed by Hartley and Hill Design. The kitchen was relocated to what was previously the family room. This shift created an opportunity for a light, bright space that better supports entertaining larger groups and casual meals by the fireplace, all while highlighting original architectural features of the home in a new, fresh way.

Our goal for this project was to seamlessly integrate the interior with the historic exterior and iconic nature of this Chicago high-rise while making it functional, contemporary, and beautiful. Natural materials in transitional detailing make the space feel warm and fresh while lending a connection to some of the historically preserved spaces lovingly restored. Steven Hall

This classic DEANE Inc kitchen has all the greatest custom features from its unique carriage doors allowing for a rush of sunlight, as well as it’s stainless steel accents through the custom cabinetry and the countertop stools. The white marble countertop and fresh white tiled backsplash also creates a clean look.

Substantial stone archways and arched windows lend integrity to this exercise in classicism. White cabinetry adorned with crown molding are anchored by honed black granite. Arched window and glass door cabinets flank the sink. Faucets, hardware, lighting, and leg trim in polished nickel reflect the light.A walk-in pantry and message niche are hidden charms.
