Your eye is immediately drawn to the marble-look porcelain in the walk-in shower. The 24″ × 48″ polished tile delivers the elegance of onyx marble with the durability and easy care of porcelain—style without the fuss!

The goal here was to achieve an overall new look; a sleeker transitional style kitchen remodel with a better flow throughout the kitchen and dining room. Adding more lighting, interior storage, a desk area and custom seating area with built-in wine cubby and glass cabinetry to showcase wine glasses were on the top of this clients’ list. Replacing the existing vinyl floor with new hardwood flooring was a good choice to combine both rooms and also to provide a warm and spacious feel to an otherwise narrow space. The homeowners came across a dark marble countertop in a trade magazine but were concerned about the maintenance necessary to care for scratches and stains. We recommended Silestone’s ‘Doradus’, a new Quartz color which looks and feels like real marble, without the fuss of sealing the countertop every 6 months. The double-equal stainless steel sink with grids were stunning in contrast to the darker quartz material and the Jado single-handled stainless steel faucet was exactly the look and quality the client wanted. Along with new Electrolux stainless steel appliances, we provided custom ‘linen white’ inset cabinetry to accommodate a pantry cabinet with pull out trays, a pull-out trash receptacle, deep drawers including a bread drawer, a Lazy Susan, and a few mullion doors with glass to showcase some colorful dishware. LED dimmable lighting was furnished and installed over all countertop work areas, casting a beautiful rich glow on the linen white porcelain subway tile as well as onto the countertop below. Recessed LED dimmable Lighting was also installed on the ceiling to ensure plenty of lighting whenever needed. Our clients are thrilled with their new kitchen as it provides a much better flow as well as an appealing sleeker ‘linen white’ classic look compared to the darker wood-toned outdated kitchen they once had.

After - a closer look at the “Prato” bar sink from Signature Copper and the Moen “Align” pull-down faucet in “Matte Black”. The design was kept bright and fuss free with a Caeserstone engineered quartz “Pebble” countertop with a honed finish, from Classic Granite. The same “Grego” color tile from the Jeffery Court “Speciality Brick Collection” (from Conestoga Tile) was used on the bar backsplash and the fireplace so the spaces tie together for a cohesive feeling.

Meet Kim: a partner in a downtown law firm. To say that she is short on time is a giant understatement. It needed a Lulu DK roman shade in the powder room. It needed a durable, snuggle-ready sofa with tufting and little patterns of texture. It needed drapery with small-scale drama. Throw in a Thomas O’ Brian cocktail table, and now there’s no shortage of conversation pieces. Little spaces make me happy – they are the most intimate snapshot of your entire home’s aesthetic – and this house has some good ones. I couldn’t wait to work with the nooks and crannies of this house. Kim’s sitting room, a small den off of the master bedroom, morphed into a craveable cozy space, a quiet adult respite from the occasional chaos of raising a family. The kitchen evolved into something quite unique: playful yet modest, dressed-up but centered. We used a favorite Lucy Rose fabric and Galbraith & Paul pillows to work perfectly with a fresh color palette selected during a prior-to-me renovation. A locally made kitchen farm table fit right in with the high-fashioned quirky blend of color, texture, and pattern. High-End + Color = Fun + Functional This is how we articulated Kim’s style and personality. She trusted me with her inner self, allowing me to get to know her and her real, everyday life. Finally, this Zen backyard has a stunning view of the mountain and it's a nice juxtaposition with the Zen feel of the backyard! This picture shows lots of contrasts: the dark pool contrasted with the light travertine, the light dining table contrasted with the dark artificial grass, the light BBQ contrasted with the dark paver veneer. I’m thrilled to share this no fuss, California sun and sand lifestyle inspired nursery. Our client, a real busy working mom, took advantage of YouthfulNest’s time-saving virtual design services to transform her guest room into a serene baby room. To accomplish her vision we curated furnishings and décor in lots of white, neutrals and a few muted colors. Completing the look are pieces in natural wood finishes. Not only is this a sea glass gem, it also includes various pieces that promote superior functionality, convenience and/or safety. We want moms and other caregivers to feel as comfortable and confident in their baby rooms as they would in any other room in their home. We believe this room exemplifies that goal. The hearthroom shares a double sided fireplace with the expansive kitchen. Lakeviews are incredible and can be admired all year round from the sunroom/hearthroom. It is cozy and casual without any fuss.

client requested a large wood table that required no fuss. The chairs were custom made with fabric on the back and faux leather on the front and a seat bench to match. The base of the table is made of metal. The light fixtures add the cool transitional feel to the beach look.

This master bath is as tranquil as they come. It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day. This room is gorgeous without a lot of fuss—just clean lines, warm colors, and beautiful finishings. Light is such an important element in this bathroom so the window treatments needed to be just right. Silhouette shadings were chosen for their ability to diffuse harsh light and spread it softly and evenly around the room. They also allow the homeowner to access the golf course views while maintaining a discreet level of privacy.

A TOUCHDOWN BY DESIGN Interior design by Jennifer Corredor, J Design Group, Coral Gables, Florida Text by Christine Davis Photography by Daniel Newcomb, Palm Beach Gardens, FL What did Detroit Lions linebacker, Stephen Tulloch, do when he needed a decorator for his new Miami 10,000-square-foot home? He tackled the situation by hiring interior designer Jennifer Corredor. Never defensive, he let her have run of the field. “He’d say, ‘Jen, do your thing,’” she says. And she did it well. The first order of the day was to get a lay of the land and a feel for what he wanted. For his primary residence, Tulloch chose a home in Pinecrest, Florida. — a great family neighborhood known for its schools and ample lot sizes. “His lot is huge,” Corredor says. “He could practice his game there if he wanted.” A laidback feeling permeates the suburban village, where mostly Mediterranean homes intermix with a few modern styles. With views toward the pool and a landscaped yard, Tulloch’s 10,000-square-foot home touches on both, a Mediterranean exterior with chic contemporary interiors. Step inside, where high ceilings and a sculptural stairway with oak treads and linear spindles immediately capture the eye. “Knowing he was more inclined toward an uncluttered look, and taking into consideration his age and lifestyle, I naturally took the path of choosing more modern furnishings,” the designer says. In the dining room, Tulloch specifically asked for a round table and Corredor found “Xilos Simplice” by Maxalto, a table that seats six to eight and has a Lazy Susan. And just past the stairway, two armless chairs from Calligaris and a semi-round sofa shape the living room. In keeping with Tulloch’s desire for a simple no-fuss lifestyle, leather is often used for upholstery. “He preferred wipe-able areas,” she says. “Nearly everything in the living room is clad in leather.” An architecturally striking, oak-coffered ceiling warms the family room, while Saturnia marble flooring grounds the space in cool comfort. “Since it’s just off the kitchen, this relaxed space provides the perfect place for family and friends to congregate — somewhere to hang out,” Corredor says. The deep-seated sofa wrapped in tan leather and Minotti armchairs in white join a pair of linen-clad ottomans for ample seating. With eight bedrooms in the home, there was “plenty of space to repurpose,” Corredor says. “Five are used for sleeping quarters, but the others have been converted into a billiard room, a home office and the memorabilia room.” On the first floor, the billiard room is set for fun and entertainment with doors that open to the pool area. The memorabilia room presented quite a challenge. Undaunted, Corredor delved into a seemingly never-ending collection of mementos to create a tribute to Tulloch’s career. “His team colors are blue and white, so we used those colors in this space,” she says. In a nod to Tulloch’s career on and off the field, his home office displays awards, recognition plaques and photos from his foundation. A Copenhagen desk, Herman Miller chair and leather-topped credenza further an aura of masculinity. All about relaxation, the master bedroom would not be complete without its own sitting area for viewing sports updates or late-night movies. Here, lounge chairs recline to create the perfect spot for Tulloch to put his feet up and watch TV. “He wanted it to be really comfortable,” Corredor says A total redo was required in the master bath, where the now 12-foot-long shower is a far cry from those in a locker room. “This bath is more like a launching pad to get you going in the morning,” Corredor says. “All in all, it’s a fun, warm and beautiful environment,” the designer says. “I wanted to create something unique, that would make my client proud and happy.” In Tulloch’s world, that’s a touchdown. Working closely with our clients, we created this stunning open plan kitchen and bootility room. The neutral tones create a calm and relaxing space with plenty of warmth from the warmer tones and texture in the room. There is plenty of space and storage in this bespoke contemporary shaker kitchen making it a functional and practical hub for this large 6 person family. The overall design is classic with clean lines and minimal fuss yet the beaded bespoke shaker cabinetry offers a subtle detail which is complimented with the stylish satin nickel handles and classic marble quartz worktops. The kitchen boasts some lovely bespoke features including a larder cupboard with door mounted spice racks, solid oak cutlery dividers and knife blocks as well as a striking antique mirror splashback. The bootility room is a hub of activity and includes all the washing and cleaning essentials as well as plenty of storage and a dedicated space for hanging coats.

Home office for small business person and comfortable daybed for week-ends gran kids may be over. Owner loves mid century and modern. Simple and clean lines is minimal fuss for him.
