Custom cabinets were built to accommodate every desire while cooking. Slideouts on both sides of the cooktop to hold spices and utensils. Stainless range hood and a pot filler were added to give more color and character to the space. The ceramic tile backsplash is reflective and carries the natural light throughout the kitchen. Large pot and pan drawers were built to accommodate and hold everything with no fuss on finding just the right pot!

A TOUCHDOWN BY DESIGN
Interior design by Jennifer Corredor, J Design Group, Coral Gables, Florida

What did Detroit Lions linebacker, Stephen Tulloch, do when he needed a decorator for his new Miami 10,000-square-foot home? He tackled the situation by hiring interior designer Jennifer Corredor. Never defensive, he let her have run of the field. “He’d say, ‘Jen, do your thing,’” she says. And she did it well.
The first order of the day was to get a lay of the land and a feel for what he wanted. For his primary residence, Tulloch chose a home in Pinecrest, Florida. — a great family neighborhood known for its schools and ample lot sizes. “His lot is huge,” Corredor says. “He could practice his game there if he wanted.”
A laidback feeling permeates the suburban village, where mostly Mediterranean homes intermix with a few modern styles. With views toward the pool and a landscaped yard, Tulloch’s 10,000-square-foot home touches on both, a Mediterranean exterior with chic contemporary interiors.
Step inside, where high ceilings and a sculptural stairway with oak treads and linear spindles immediately capture the eye. “Knowing he was more inclined toward an uncluttered look, and taking into consideration his age and lifestyle, I naturally took the path of choosing more modern furnishings,” the designer says.
In the dining room, Tulloch specifically asked for a round table and Corredor found “Xilos Simplice” by Maxalto, a table that seats six to eight and has a Lazy Susan.
And just past the stairway, two armless chairs from Calligaris and a semi-round sofa shape the living room. In keeping with Tulloch’s desire for a simple no-fuss lifestyle, leather is often used for upholstery. “He preferred wipe-able areas,” she says. “Nearly everything in the living room is clad in leather.”
An architecturally striking, oak-coffered ceiling warms the family room, while Saturnia marble flooring grounds the space in cool comfort. “Since it’s just off the kitchen, this relaxed space provides the perfect place for family and friends to congregate — somewhere to hang out,” Corredor says. The deep-seated sofa wrapped in tan leather and Minotti armchairs in white join a pair of linen-clad ottomans for ample seating.
With eight bedrooms in the home, there was “plenty of space to repurpose,” Corredor says. “Five are used for sleeping quarters, but the others have been converted into a billiard room, a home office and the memorabilia room.” On the first floor, the billiard room is set for fun and entertainment with doors that open to the pool area.
The memorabilia room presented quite a challenge. Undaunted, Corredor delved into a seemingly never-ending collection of mementos to create a tribute to Tulloch’s career. “His team colors are blue and white, so we used those colors in this space,” she says.
In a nod to Tulloch’s career on and off the field, his home office displays awards, recognition plaques and photos from his foundation. A Copenhagen desk, Herman Miller chair and leather-topped credenza further an aura of masculinity.
All about relaxation, the master bedroom would not be complete without its own sitting area for viewing sports updates or late-night movies. Here, lounge chairs recline to create the perfect spot for Tulloch to put his feet up and watch TV. “He wanted it to be really comfortable,” Corredor says
A total redo was required in the master bath, where the now 12-foot-long shower is a far cry from those in a locker room. “This bath is more like a launching pad to get you going in the morning,” Corredor says.
“All in all, it’s a fun, warm and beautiful environment,” the designer says. “I wanted to create something unique, that would make my client proud and happy.” In Tulloch’s world, that’s a touchdown.

A second laundry room that’s all about efficiency and order.
Full-height cabinetry lines the space, creating generous storage for everything that usually ends up scattered. Built-in bench seating makes sorting and folding easier, while keeping the room feeling intentional instead of utilitarian.
The stacked washer and dryer tuck neatly into the layout, and durable flooring keeps maintenance simple. Clean white cabinetry paired with dark doors adds contrast without fuss.
This is laundry as infrastructure. Out of the way, well organized, and designed to quietly do its job without getting in the way of the rest of the house.

These Window Boxes are hard plastic in the color of white. They are fabulous to work with and there is no fuss with longevity. Here is Geraniums and White Bocopa

This new home was built for a young couple and their son. It is a second home that gets used most weekends as a get-away. It was designed by Jason Bernard, built by Lowell Management, with finish selections and photos done by Interior Changes home design.

These homeowners were pretty dreamy to work with. Very clear about their taste and the direction they wanted to go in. Ones a little more traditional. The other a bit more contemporary. They wanted an overall feel of a rich/neutral/restoration hardware inspired/ family friendly space.
This room has a huge full wall of windows and they back on to a forest so privacy is not a major issue. They did want the option to pull a Drape all the way across them in case they wanted to watch a movie. I proposed the option of doing multiple panels but they didn't want to fuss with it. So I ordered in a specialty rod where you can install multiple brackets but still pull the Drape all the way across a wide spence.

Simplistic design – purist price | Do you love purist classics and could happily live without fuss and frills? The art of omission drove our designers when developing the Focus S range. They reduced this mixer range to the basics until they were satisfied with its crystal-clear naturalness. The result: timeless simplicity that impresses through a slender design with a straight pin handle. A range with low production costs was therefore created enabling you to benefit from a lower price. Technology was the only area where nothing was spared: the Focus S range comes with durable Hansgrohe mixer quality.

Every garden needs a fountain. This type of fountain is perfect for a contemporary garden design. It adds the sound of water without the fuss of some water features. Wait until you see the hummingbirds enjoy it! Such fun!

Inspired by Scandinavian and German design, this modern kitchen is decidedly fuss-free and “pure”. The surfaces and materials focus on the use of neutral materials and earthy colors while eliminating unnecessary detailing.

The striking and multi-tonal nature of real wood in an easily installed composite deck tile is yours in this series on the Kontiki label. This is your way to transform a drab outdoor living surface or a transitioning indoor one in a matter of hours, and do it yourself. For patios, balconies and beyond, creating a stylish space is as easy as can be.
Each composite deck tile is the product of post-consumer and post-industrial manufacturing innovation. The colors and grain patterns are realistic, and are also made to resist the most common types of wear to which any outdoor surface is exposed; fading, scratching, and staining. These are practical outdoor living space surfaces that do not off-gas, do not leech, and are designed to look great for the long-term.
Stylish composite deck tiles you can install yourself – easily
Making the transition between “before” and “after” is very easily done with this series of composite deck tiles. Simply snap them together using a 4-way interlocking system over a stable and flat surface; no special tools, no fuss, right out of the box. When you’re done, you’ll have a low-maintenance surface that’s designed to look great for a long time.
The locking system is raised to allow for maximum drainage during inclement weather, which is one of the keys to their enduring performance. And if you ever decide to re-locate your tiles, that’s easy too; it’s as easy as installing them. This adds another yet level of re-use and long-lasting surfaces.

Our clients came to us with their vision and an ask to create a timeless family space grounded in their English roots.
What resulted was just that: an open and bright English-inspired kitchen featuring custom inset-cabinetry in three painted finishes, aged brass hardware, a large range alcove with built-in shelving, oversized island with plenty of prep space with oversized brass bell pendants and a 12' floor to ceiling pantry.
While carefully designed and expertly crafted, the kitchen is "no -fuss" in personality and quite livable for the family which were two must-haves characteristics for the homeowners.
To achieve the look and flow, the former posts in the kitchen were removed and two 24' steel beams were installed to support the second floor. All beams, new and old, were sanded down and refinished with a custom stain.
We created an opening into the dining room, letting light stream through throughout the day and creating sight lines from room-to-room for this busy family.
Modifications were made to the framing of adjacent rooms to allow for the floor-to-ceiling pantry to be installed. New paint, refinished floors, new appliances, and windows were also a part of the overall scope.

Home office for small business person and comfortable daybed for week-ends gran kids may be over. Owner loves mid century and modern. Simple and clean lines is minimal fuss for him.

Designer Katheryn Cowles created a crispt and clean master bathroom that is both glamorous and functional. This spa-like master bathroom has beautiful accessories and a large amount of storage to satisfy her clients need for a glam, yet neutral, no-fuss space.
