2nd Floor Laundry Room renovation. The Laundry Room features our Epiphany Custom cabinets. The doorstyle is a shaker profile. They are painted maple in Smoke Embers. The top is River White granite. The tile floor is 6 x 48 Sant Agostino wood look in Nut.

Built in the 1950s, this rambler housed a dark, cramped galley kitchen only 6’ x 20’. A later addition added more space, but wasn’t optimally designed. So, when they purchased the property, the new owners did so with the intent of gutting and remodeling the first floor. The goal of the renovation was to create a functional, dedicated kitchen and dining room space while keeping many of the home’s historic touches. The first step was to remove the bearing wall between kitchen and living room and install a structural beam to create a seamless connection between the two spaces. A large center island was designed to be the focal point of the space, complete with a new farm sink and room to serve four or more people. A professional range with a stylish wooden hood was installed and custom cabinets wrap around the entire kitchen to provide plenty of storage. Meanwhile, a custom-built hutch was installed in the dining room area, as was a butler’s pantry, to add more flair to the project. A timeless tile backsplash was installed to spruce up the soft color granite top which was carefully selected to harmonize with cabinet and floor color schemes. The lighting was revamped and redesigned for entire space, including a couple of hanging pendants over the island. Wide plank distressed hardwood flooring was installed all over the kitchen and dining room to maintain the integrity of historic look. With all new appliances, linen-stained maple cabinetry and distressed wood Island, old world hickory floor and more, this project moved from its dysfunctional status to fun and funky.

This homeowner decided to remodel her newly purchase condo. In the kitchen she chose a fun and unique color for her kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are a maple and the counter tops are a dark granite.

This modern kitchen contrasts light and dark throughout. The perimeter cabinets, by HomeCrest, are maple with a Java finish and Sedona door style. This kitchen was remodeled with Waypoint 650F Maple Cabinets in Cream Glaze installed on the perimeter and Waypoint 650F Maple Espresso cabinets for the island accented with New Venetian Gold Granite countertops. Accessories installed in the cabinets included a super susan cabinet, wood spin unit, four deep roll out trays in the island cabinets, and silverware/knife section insert.

Built in 1860, this historic home is located next to Phillips Academy in Andover MA and has served as a home to the academy’s administrators. The kitchen was a utilitarian, dark and cramped space. The goal of the remodel was to create a brighter and more elegant kitchen. Two new windows on either side of the cooking area, bring in light and views of the backyard. A wood paneled raised ceiling with drop soffit was added, giving new depth and warmth to the room. A glass display cabinet with interior lighting lines one wall adding to the airy, bright ambiance. Elegant styling includes hand painted custom cabinetry from Jewett Farms with decorative furniture feet and a hand-hammered copper range hood.Cosmic black granite replaced the outdated Formica countertops. A custom designed backsplash tile consists of a traditional 3 x 6 subway tile with custom selected square mosaics which tie the dark counters in with the white cabinets. Coppery accents within the mosaics reflect the copper range hood and beautiful wood floors. The flooring throughout the first floor was replaced with antique reclaimed oak.

A lovely Colonial revival in Larchmont NY was begging for a fresh start. Custom cabinetry by Studio Dearborn in a soft grey was fitted into the compact kitchen utilizing every inch of space. A muted palette keeps the space feeling light, allowing the colorful Le Creuset cookware to take center stage. Bosch cooktop, Signature Hardware range hood, Kohler faucet, Kraus sink, Sonoma Marketplace Pure white bevel subway tile 3x6. Cabinetry custom color match to Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist. There is a Moen stainless steel rectangular laundry sink, a Delta polished chrome pull down laundry faucet, and a counter for folding clothes. There is a pull out drawer in a base cabinet for storing laundry, roll outs in an upper cabinet and a lower storage cabinet to store vacuums, etc. We installed white and taupe marble look marble look porcelain tile flooring and chose a cheery shade of yellow for the walls. The trim, clothes closet double doors, and a pocket door to the hallway are painted white.
