Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling. We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity. Wine Cellar Builder Vintage Cellars are true pros when it comes to proper wine storage. Long term wine storage was a must for this client. This small wine cellar / glass wine cellar / small wine room has a ducted cooling system - utilizing a Wine Guardian placed into the ceiling. A total of 324 bottles was achieved by maximizing the wall space with triple deep metal wine racks. INSPIRATION: local settlements in northern Iran formed by a simple adaptation of the nature, geography and climate of that region. The local architecture of this place is so intertwined with nature and in harmony with the climate that it can be called naturalistic architecture. We are looking to redefining the region's former architecture, which needs protection, into today's language. Unique properties: Extroverted architecture is a solution that is necessary to respond to the hot and humid climate of the location of this project. But in Iranian culture, introverted architecture is unavoidable therefore, in this residential apartment where several families live together and also have common spaces, providing a response to introversion and extroversion at the same time has been considered. Description: Extreme use of the porch refers to the deep structures of the Iranian Architecture The "primitive cottage", which is a favorite of the residents of this small town, when converted into a contemporary apartment, must include several basic spaces to implement the residential scenario. Private and semi-private balconies are the most important of those spaces. Extensive vista is the potential of this project. because in addition to the forest view from the south and the beach view on the north side, the other two sides of the project have a unique view due to their height from the city. Therefore, the location and type of openings affect the quality of the space. Each space has a pleasant view, light and proper air circulation. Roofed and non-roofed yards equally divided at different levels. These independent courtyards in the vertical surfaces seen as a vertical and integrated garden in the urban context. CHALENGE: The value that the project pursues is to answer: How contemporary architecture can be faithful to culture, nature and context? How architecture can affect the audience without showing off? this challenge arose for us when we noticed that the surrounding new buildings had nothing to do with local architecture except for adhering to a form such as a sloping roof. Audience tastes have also gone in a direction that is not compatible with contextual factors. So having a few touches of culture and context can be a turning point in the contemporary architecture of this Small scale area.

This screened-in porch is captivated by this Hartwell Outdoor Dining set. When asked about what inspired the space, Summer said, “This family of seven wanted a screened porch that would be an extension of their kitchen and dining room. They wanted a space to enjoy outdoor dining and to host extended family and friends. The space needed to be beautiful yet durable enough for an active family with little ones. That's why we customized a table from Rustic Trades.” The environment has three spaces to gather with the main area being the handcrafted Hartwell Outdoor Dining Table. This table sizes at 96"L by 36"W by 30"H comfortably seating around 8 individuals. It has a Slatted Outdoor top crafted out of Ipe Hardwoods with a Teak Color. The combination of Ipe Hardwoods, an Outdoor Monocoat finish, and a smooth slatted top provides the utmost durability to withstand humidity and outdoor temperature fluctuation.

Beautifully executed detail can be found everywhere from the hot/cold exterior hose hookup to the wooden dormer over the front porch. In addition, the house is a looker – a home you can’t find in just any neighborhood. Notice the bold symmetry with the stone walls flanking the large front porch. Windows placed high on either side of the front facade provide plenty of light while maintaining privacy. Our landscaper, Chad Rodgers, complemented the symmetry with matching Japanese Maples that in due time will grow up to be perfectly positioned. Concrete planters anchor the front door, while bold blue rocking chairs brighten up the facade two by two. Natural Wood Elements Chad Stoyell, the builder, used real material throughout the house and the front door is no exception. This beauty is made of solid wood. The natural beauty of wood is continued in this wooden open dormer. The lighting fixture keeps that southern charm going with lantern accents – also seen in the fixtures flanking the garage door. Hydrangeas line the driveway along the side of the house. Great craftsmanship on the shake siding and stone application. This Southern Florida farmhouse may look like it’s been there for generations but this brand new home is built by PBS Contractors to withstand everything that mother nature can throw at it. The exterior walls are constructed with our ship-lap style 10″ Plank EverLog Siding and our vertical Board and Batten, pre-finished with a custom color we call Western Tan and Weatherall chinking in the same tone. The siding is attached to 1×3 treated furring strips over rigid foam insulation and all are anchored to the 8″ CMU and cast-in-place concrete wall with concrete screws.
