We started with and older home that had a separated kitchen and dining area, which is a very common layout for most older homes. Our first step was to remove all the divider walls and install loadbearing beams so we could create an open concept main floor with a much larger kitchen and island layout. We then followed with the premium luxury plank Everwood product, which is extremely resistant to water and pets, ideal for a kitchen area and a busy family with pets. Our next step was to install custom painted Decor cabinetry in the customers chosen Benjamin Moore colours. Deluxe Silestone Quartz countertops were installed, followed by a funky glass backsplash that tied everything together. Stunning and super functional! We also renovated the customers ensuite and main Bathroom which are both gorgeous but we will leave that for a separate pictorial!

This high-angle, wide aerial shot captures an expansive residential backyard landscaping renovation completed in Sahuarita, Arizona (Tucson metro area) by Az Custom Landscapes LLC. The project highlights a massive, premium artificial grass installation engineered to provide a vibrant, low-maintenance alternative to traditional sod in a harsh desert climate. The high-density, drought-resistant synthetic turf is meticulously cut with a sweeping, fluid curve that defines the main lawn area. It features a crisp concrete mow lane and clean-line border edging, flawlessly separating the rich green grass from a decorative river rock and desert plant irrigation bed running along the property line. Designed for year-round durability and high-traffic outdoor living, the lawn integrates seamlessly with an expansive concrete paver patio, an outdoor kitchen barbecue area, and a custom shade gazebo, offering an ideal pet- and family-friendly retreat optimized for the Southwestern heat.

The family room is open to the kitchen and needed to be inviting and comfortable for a family with kids and pets. The two focal points are the custom wall unit and the new fireplace surround.

Download our free ebook, Creating the Ideal Kitchen. DOWNLOAD NOW This master bath remodel is the cat's meow for more than one reason! The materials in the room are soothing and give a nice vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. We completed a kitchen remodel for this client a few years’ ago and were delighted when she contacted us for help with her master bath! The bathroom was fine but was lacking in interesting design elements, and the shower was very small. We started by eliminating the shower curb which allowed us to enlarge the footprint of the shower all the way to the edge of the bathtub, creating a modified wet room. The shower is pitched toward a linear drain so the water stays in the shower. A glass divider allows for the light from the window to expand into the room, while a freestanding tub adds a spa like feel. The radiator was removed and both heated flooring and a towel warmer were added to provide heat. Since the unit is on the top floor in a multi-unit building it shares some of the heat from the floors below, so this was a great solution for the space. The custom vanity includes a spot for storing styling tools and a new built in linen cabinet provides plenty of the storage. The doors at the top of the linen cabinet open to stow away towels and other personal care products, and are lighted to ensure everything is easy to find. The doors below are false doors that disguise a hidden storage area. The hidden storage area features a custom litterbox pull out for the homeowner’s cat! Her kitty enters through the cutout, and the pull out drawer allows for easy clean ups. The materials in the room – white and gray marble, charcoal blue cabinetry and gold accents – have a vintage vibe in keeping with the rest of the home. Polished nickel fixtures and hardware add sparkle, while colorful artwork adds some life to the space.

Children’s Baths: Brookhaven Edgemont Door with Alpine White Opaque finish and Matt Winter Sky stain For a busy family with three older children at home, comfortable living space and ultimate functionality was a must in their new home. Cabinets by Design developed a large L-shaped kitchen and breakfast room which overlooks the patio and pool to create a feeling of open space. Ample storage needs were answered through glass-front dining room cabinets, organizational office storage and file drawers, and a laundry room that is also ideal for gift wrapping and pet care. The large master bath exudes a relaxing, spa-like feel while the children’s baths provide lots of storage and roomy counter space.
