This master on-suite bathroom feels sophisticated in it's mix of dark and light materials, from the dark grey-stained vanity and mirror, dark sable bronze finished faucetry by Sigma Faucet, and Slate Tile mixed with the light counters, dark faux stacked stone accent tile and light wood-look tile flooring.

Four men worked eight months to install the Egyptian limestone marble found in the entry, on both interior and exterior walls, all of the fireplaces, all exterior columns, throughout the master bathroom, and even on the pool deck.

When Ami McKay was asked by the owners of Park Place to design their new home, she found inspiration in both her own travels and the beautiful West Coast of Canada which she calls home. This circa-1912 Vancouver character home was torn down and rebuilt, and our fresh design plan allowed the owners dreams to come to life.
A closer look at Park Place reveals an artful fusion of diverse influences and inspirations, beautifully brought together in one home. Within the kitchen alone, notable elements include the French-bistro backsplash, the arched vent hood (including hidden, seamlessly integrated shelves on each side), an apron-front kitchen sink (a nod to English Country kitchens), and a saturated color palette—all balanced by white oak millwork. Floor to ceiling cabinetry ensures that it’s also easy to keep this beautiful space clutter-free, with room for everything: chargers, stationery and keys. These influences carry on throughout the home, translating into thoughtful touches: gentle arches, welcoming dark green millwork, patterned tile, and an elevated vintage clawfoot bathtub in the cozy primary bathroom.

This is an example of a mid-sized asian full sun backyard stone garden path in Boston.

Seamless connections between interior and exterior spaces abound, including a large pocket window which opens the kitchen to the outdoor barbecue area. A second story viewing deck provides area for more entertaining and views of the Pacific.

Open concept kitchen - mid-sized asian single-wall ceramic tile open concept kitchen idea in Calgary with an undermount sink, flat-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, granite countertops, black backsplash, stone slab backsplash, black appliances and an island

Custom cabinetry, mirror frames, trim and railing was built around the Asian inspired theme of this large spa-like master bath. A custom deck with custom railing was built to house the large Japanese soaker bath. The tub deck and countertops are a dramatic granite which compliments the cherry cabinetry and stone vessels.

The watery Venetian damask from Zoffany sets the mood for this Pied a Terre bedroom. We wrapped the room in a color pulled from the paper, even the doors and moldings are in this color. The wallpaper softens the hard lines of the industrial style metal bed from CB2. To purists the placement of the refurbished Mid Century nightstands with the wallpaper may seem inappropriate, but I think the nightstands are a tailored response to the exuberance of the paper. Also, if you watch TCM on a regular basis you would see such mixes all the time. The Chinese Mirror and Japanese prints reflect my client's interest in Asia and add another layer to the mix.

Our custom mudroom with this perfectly sized dog crate was created for the Homeowner's specific lifestyle, professionals who work all day, but love running and being in the outdoors during the off-hours. Closed pantry storage allows for a clean and classic look while holding everything needed for skiing, biking, running, and field hockey. Even Gus approves!
