Kitchen wallpaper installation – Arch Cape, OR. In this coastal-industrial kitchen, we installed concrete-effect wallpaper with a cool gray tone and subtle texture. Positioned between dark cabinetry and stainless steel accents, the wallpaper adds raw structure while remaining cleanable and heat-tolerant — ideal for a working kitchen with style.

In the kitchen, professional Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Miele appliances are set into modern Leicht Cabinets. Custom cabinets line another wall, hiding the Thermador Refrigerator, and Perlick Wine Refrigerator with beautiful custom made wood front panels to match new cabinet doors and drawers.

Backyard string lights, custom cut to fit the space. 4 x 4 wood post were installed to support one end of the string light runs, otherwise the lights wouldn't be high enough to walk under.

The customer needed to add a gate to an existing deck to control the dogs' access to the yard. I installed two latches so the gate can be fixed in either the open or closed position.

This Great room is where the family spends a majority of their time. A large navy blue velvet sectional is extra deep for hanging out or watching movies. We layered floral pillows, color blocked pillows, and a vintage rug fragment turned decorative pillow on the sectional. The sunny yellow chairs flank the fireplace and an oversized custom gray leather cocktail ottoman does double duty as a coffee table and extra seating. The large wood tray warms up the cool color palette. A trio of openwork brass chandeliers are scaled for the large space. We created a vertical element in the room with stacked gray stone and installed a reclaimed timber as a mantel.

In Manhattan’s landmarked Tribeca North, the top floor and roof of an 1884 warehouse are reconceived as a warm and welcoming residence with a fluid connection to the outdoor environment. A relocated mezzanine features a sunken court yard with a retractable glass roof and connects to the new green roof garden above. Embracing the building’s industrial past, a visual discourse between new and old is devised through insertions of modern materials along with restored or reclaimed materials. A large modern concrete patio slab, Industria’s square shape and smooth surface allows you to play with colors and patterns. Line them up for a clean contemporary look or have some fun by installing them diagonally to create a field of diamonds. Inspiration for a modern pool remodel in Los Angeles

Our goal on this project was to create a live-able and open feeling space in a 690 square foot modern farmhouse. We planned for an open feeling space by installing tall windows and doors, utilizing pocket doors and building a vaulted ceiling. An efficient layout with hidden kitchen appliances and a concealed laundry space, built in tv and work desk, carefully selected furniture pieces and a bright and white colour palette combine to make this tiny house feel like a home. We achieved our goal of building a functionally beautiful space where we comfortably host a few friends and spend time together as a family. John McManus

AquaTerra Outdoors was hired to bring life to the outdoors of the new home. When it came time to design the space we were challenged with the tight space of the backyard. We worked through the concepts and we were able to incorporate a new pool with spa, custom water feature wall, Ipe wood deck, outdoor kitchen, custom steel and Ipe wood shade arbor and fire pit.
