Our clients needed a fully wheelchair accessible home but didn't want any of it to feel institutional. This is a small glimpse into the spacious universally designed bathroom that allows full wheelchair access to all the bathroom amenities but in no way isolates the bathroom or categorizes it as only to be used for that purpose.

In this home a walk-in shower was added as well as a corner soaking tub for hydrotherapy. The wall tile is a large, wavy grey tone and the cabinetry grey shaker style. The hall bathroom was also upgraded with new vanity and top, LVP flooring and modern, non-institutional style grab bars. There were additional handrails added throughout the home so that the stairs could be used while holding on to two rails at one time. The front of the home received a paver walkway with dual handrails as well.

Our professional flooring team was thrilled to work on the prestigious Florida Atlantic University project. We installed custom large-patterned broadloom carpet in the House Chambers, giving new life to the iconic space. The Kaye Auditorium's intricate job involved demolishing the old stage, installing new wood, and finishing it to match the auditorium's stature. In the Banquet Hall, Majestic Palms Ballroom, and Conference Rooms, we used custom carpet tiles in school colors. Outside the Genius Lounge, we installed a complementary stone veneer. Luxury Vinyl Tile was used in the Cavalry and Retail areas. Overall, we installed approximately 2,000 square yards of carpet, 3,500 square feet of vinyl plank, and around 500 square feet of stone veneer, producing a finished product that delighted both us and the client. Contact our team soon to book your consultation, as our schedule is filling up quickly!

The Princeton Sustainable Home Expo was a great experience. We learned about other local businesses and had conversations with Master Gardeners and a Watershed Institute representative. It was also rewarding to help homeowners with their landscape design, planting, and stormwater managment questions. We look forward to attending next year’s event!

The historic Schweitzer Institute was renovated to convert the museum with offices and living quarters, to a private residence. Renovations included creating a master suite. Additions included bedrooms, bathrooms and a great room with two story loft-style feel. A pool and pool house were added to the grounds.

Located above the coast of Malibu, this two-story concrete and glass home is organized into a series of bands that hug the hillside and a central circulation spine. Living spaces are compressed between the retaining walls that hold back the earth and a series of glass facades facing the ocean and Santa Monica Bay. The name of the project stems from the physical and psychological protection provided by wearing reflective sunglasses. On the house the “glasses” allow for panoramic views of the ocean while also reflecting the landscape back onto the exterior face of the building.
