It all started with a design session with our clients. Clients had a vision of blue and white cabinet combination. We got a few designs in an couldn't quite hit the nail. It was once we introduced the white oak that it all came together. Clients then introduced the concept of a talavera tile backsplash and once we put our hands on the right tile, everything came together in perfect harmony. An unused space at the base of the stairs becomes a chic hangout and a functional addition to the family room. The built-in banquette with a marble Saarinen table is great for the whole family. The banisters underwent nine coats of paint in five colors to achieve the beautiful deep, tonal browns and grays.

This galley kitchen, part of a complete home remodel for South Orange County residents, showcases a clean, elegant design that blends classic influences with a bright contemporary atmosphere. Le Gourmet Kitchen reimagined the layout and introduced a subtle curved ceiling design, adding architectural interest and softening the linear nature of the galley form. The resulting space feels open, refined, and thoughtfully balanced. The color palette centers on crisp whites and soft neutrals, creating a calm, light filled environment. The white cabinetry enhances the airy mood, while stainless steel appliances contribute a polished contrast that reinforces the kitchen’s modern functionality. Warm wood flooring grounds the design, introducing natural richness and visual warmth.

When walking in the front door you see straight through to the expansive views- we wanted to lean into this feature with our design and create a space that draws you in and ushers you to the light filled heart of the home. We introduced deep shades on the walls and a whitewashed flooring to set the tone for the contrast utilized throughout. A personal favorite- The client’s owned a fantastic piece of art featuring David Bowie that we used as inspiration for the color palette throughout the entire home, so hanging it at the entry and introducing you to the vibes of this home from your first foot in the door was a no brainer.
