This remodel took this 1950s Arcadia neighborhood bungalow back to its mid-century modern roots while providing the owners with a brand new modern kitchen and spacious great room. By using insulated horizontal metal siding, and large expanses of glass this low slung desert home stays both cool and bright. After nearly 20 years of working in a cramped and inefficient kitchen, as well a doing most of their cooking on a hotplate because of on-going issues with old appliances, our food-loving clients were more than ready for a major kitchen remodel. Our goal was to open the kitchen and living space without compromising the architectural integrity of this gorgeous 1930’s home, allowing our clients to cook and entertain guests at the same time. We made sure to retain key elements, such as the plaster cove moulding detail, arched doorways, and glass knobs in order to maintain the look and era of the home. Features includes a new bar and prep sink area, new appliances throughout, a cozy dog bed area incorporated into the cabinet design, shelving niche for cookbooks, magnetic cabinet door on the broom closet to display photos, a recessed television niche for the flatscreen, and radius steps with custom mosaic tile on the stair risers. Our clients can now cook and entertain guests with ease while their beloved dog’s standby to keep the floor clean!

This was an ensuite where the homeowners wanted to create a retreat for themselves. With a steam shower being a key element and a vanity that the homeowner fell in love with, the design began. Finishing with a very unique tile design this space became one of a kind.

Located in the historic Central Gardens neighborhood in Memphis, the project sought to revive the outdoor space of a 1920’s traditional home with a new pool, screened porch, and garden design. After renovating the 1920’s kitchen, the client sought to improve their outdoor space. The first step was replacing the existing kidney pool with a smaller pool more suited to the charm of the site. With the careful insertion of key elements, the design creates spaces which accommodate, swimming, lounging, entertaining, gardening, cooking and more. “Strong, organized geometry makes all of this work and creates a simple and relaxing environment,” Designer Jeff Edwards explains. “Our detailing takes on updated freshness, so there is a distinction between new and old, but both reside harmoniously.” The screened porch actually has some modern detailing that compliments the previous kitchen renovation, but the proportions in materiality are very complimentary to the original architecture from the 1920s. The screened porch opens out onto a small outdoor terrace that then flows down into the backyard and overlooks a small pool.

This newly constructed open floor plan home with a large finished basement is ideal for this fun-loving couple. We were fortunate to be included in the very beginning stages of construction space planning to optimize room placement, layout, and spacing. From there, we worked side-by-side with homeowners and contractor in selecting all of the details from floors and doors to lighting and window treatments. These empty nesters love to entertain. Both the main level and the downstairs offer great flow. A bit of luxury was added in the master bathroom with this soaker tub and custom tile shower.

This Japanese mid-century private residence in Carmel, California, offers a breathtaking blend of architectural elegance and natural beauty. Perched on a cliffside with sweeping ocean views and surrounded by towering spruce trees and lush natural vegetation, the home embraces its tranquil environment. Our Music Lounge is located on the second floor of a stunning 100+ year-old Tudor-style residence in Hartford, CT—part of the 2025 Junior League of Hartford Designer Show House. When designing the space, we set out to celebrate Connecticut-based female artists. The room began with two key elements: a leafy, organic grasscloth wallpaper by Goshen artist Sarah Von Dreele, and an original painting titled Torch Singer by West Hartford’s Sandy Welch. Sandy’s portrait became the driving inspiration behind the color palette and the mood of the room. The woman in the painting feels completely at ease—confident, expressive, and immersed in the music. We envisioned a well-traveled couple living here, wanting this space to evoke a cozy Parisian café tucked within their historic home—a moody, romantic retreat layered with stories. Most evenings, we imagine them here, unwinding to vintage records on the gramophone, sipping bourbon hot toddies by candlelight, and dreaming up their next overseas adventure. The room is intimate, eclectic, and richly layered—evoking nostalgia, warmth, and quiet indulgence. If cigarettes were still in fashion, this would be the room to lean back, light up, and lose track of time.

This new construction home tells a story through it’s clean lines and alluring details. Our clients, a young family moving from the city, wanted to create a timeless home for years to come. The home was opened up and the kitchen was moved to the other side of the home. We added a marble island that was a show stopper, within the kitchen that was large open to the outdoors. With new 100 ft windows throughout the living room and the indoor outdoor living was complimented with textured walls, wood floors, amazing show stopping lights, and details of tiles. Located in the prestigious Carlsbad Estates near the beach, this home underwent a complete first-floor redesign and remodel. The transformation that we did with our General Contractor features an open-concept layout with a relocated kitchen, now boasting a stunning marble island that serves as a showpiece. This spacious kitchen seamlessly opens to the outdoors, creating an ideal space for entertaining. Key elements of the remodel include: 100 ft Windows: These expansive windows in the living room enhance the indoor-outdoor living experience, flooding the space with natural light. Textured Walls & Wood Floors: These features add warmth and character, complementing the open layout. Show-Stopping Lighting: Unique lighting fixtures throughout the home create a striking ambiance. We opted for a “pull and replace” remodel – an approach that preserves the existing layout while updating key elements, offering significant aesthetic improvement at an optimal cost. The renovation included new cabinets, countertops, hardware, and fixtures throughout both spaces. A custom “appliance garage” was incorporated into the design, allowing countertop appliances to be concealed when not in use, maintaining the clean aesthetic the client desired.

The contrast veining of the countertop and glass/wood tall unit add a twist to the overall look. This thoughtful arrangement enhances kitchen organization and efficiency, consolidating key elements into one streamlined space while maintaining a sleek and modern appearance.

In this compact Houston yard, we created a relaxing outdoor retreat with thoughtful design and custom features. The focal point is a stamped concrete patio, which provides a stylish and durable foundation for gatherings. A serene water feature with a river rock basin, hand-selected by the client, adds soothing sounds and natural beauty to the space. Landscape lighting enhances the ambiance, illuminating key elements and extending the enjoyment into the evening. We also installed an A/C screen and storage. The landscape is softened with native plants, creating a green, eco-friendly solution that blends seamlessly with the surroundings.
