A real treat to work on this project as Art Director with The Property Brothers. This home was transformed from a very dated and gloomy space to a bright, elegant Urban retreat in the heart of The Danforth! Various layers of colour and texture were key elements in creating a home filled with life, warmth and style for a young family to enjoy!

The objective was to create a warm neutral space to later customize to a specific colour palate/preference of the end user for this new construction home being built to sell. A high-end contemporary feel was requested to attract buyers in the area. An impressive kitchen that exuded high class and made an impact on guests as they entered the home, without being overbearing. The space offers an appealing open floorplan conducive to entertaining with indoor-outdoor flow.
Due to the spec nature of this house, the home had to remain appealing to the builder, while keeping a broad audience of potential buyers in mind. The challenge lay in creating a unique look, with visually interesting materials and finishes, while not being so unique that potential owners couldn’t envision making it their own. The focus on key elements elevates the look, while other features blend and offer support to these striking components. As the home was built for sale, profitability was important; materials were sourced at best value, while retaining high-end appeal. Adaptations to the home’s original design plan improve flow and usability within the kitchen-greatroom. The client desired a rich dark finish. The chosen colours tie the kitchen to the rest of the home (creating unity as combination, colours and materials, is repeated throughout).

Modern Apartment Interior Fit-Out and Renovation Masterpiece
In the heart of Dubai’s vibrant urban landscape, Antonovich Group has once again redefined luxury living with the completion of a stunning modern apartment interior fit-out and renovation project. Renowned for their meticulous craftsmanship and innovative design solutions, Antonovich Group has transformed a bare apartment into a sophisticated sanctuary that seamlessly blends style, functionality, and cutting-edge technology. This project exemplifies their expertise in modern apartment interior fit-out, furniture design, and renovation execution, setting a new benchmark for elite residential spaces.
Comprehensive Interior Fit-Out Solutions
Antonovich Group’s interior fit-out services were pivotal in bringing this project to life. The fit-out process involved transforming the raw space into a fully functional apartment, complete with custom installations and high-end finishes. Key elements of the fit-out included:
• Space Optimization: The team employed clever space-planning techniques to maximize the apartment’s layout, creating an open-plan design that promotes seamless movement between living, dining, and kitchen areas. Glass partitions and sliding doors were used to maintain privacy without sacrificing the airy feel.
• Premium Materials: High-quality materials such as marble flooring, hardwood accents, and sleek metal finishes were incorporated to add a touch of sophistication. These materials not only elevate the aesthetic but also ensure durability and longevity.
• Smart Home Integration: The apartment features a state-of-the-art smart home system, including automated lighting, voice-controlled appliances, and climate control, enhancing convenience and modern living. This aligns with current trends in apartment renovations, as highlighted by Antonovich Group’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies.
Bespoke Furniture: The Heart of the Design
A standout feature of this project is the custom-made furniture designed and manufactured by Antonovich Group’s own production facilities. Each piece was tailored to complement the apartment’s modern aesthetic while maximizing functionality. Highlights include:
• Statement Seating: Plush sofas and armchairs in soft, neutral fabrics create inviting seating areas in the living room, prioritizing both comfort and style.
• Sleek Storage Solutions: Built-in wardrobes and cabinetry were designed to optimize space, incorporating hidden compartments and intelligent storage systems to keep the apartment clutter-free.
• Elegant Dining Set: A custom dining table with marble accents serves as a focal point, blending seamlessly with the open-plan layout and adding a touch of grandeur.
Renovation Execution: Precision and Craftsmanship
The renovation execution phase was where Antonovich Group’s expertise truly shone. The apartment required minor structural updates to accommodate the open-plan layout and smart home integrations. The team’s ability to perform these renovations without compromising the building’s fixed structure was a testament to their experience with high-end apartment projects.

After nearly 20 years of working in a cramped and inefficient kitchen, as well a doing most of their cooking on a hotplate because of on-going issues with old appliances, our food-loving clients were more than ready for a major kitchen remodel.
Our goal was to open the kitchen and living space without compromising the architectural integrity of this gorgeous 1930’s home, allowing our clients to cook and entertain guests at the same time. We made sure to retain key elements, such as the plaster cove moulding detail, arched doorways, and glass knobs in order to maintain the look and era of the home.
Features includes a new bar and prep sink area, new appliances throughout, a cozy dog bed area incorporated into the cabinet design, shelving niche for cookbooks, magnetic cabinet door on the broom closet to display photos, a recessed television niche for the flatscreen, and radius steps with custom mosaic tile on the stair risers.
Our clients can now cook and entertain guests with ease while their beloved dog’s standby to keep the floor clean!

The client’s vision for this house and boathouse at Horning on the Norfolk Broads was to provide an exemplary building that is sustainable and graceful in design, complementing and enhancing the setting and providing a legacy for future generations.
The extensive use of wood cladding and decking were key elements of LSI architects’ design. However, given that ‘The Haven’ is in a flood zone, surrounded on three sides by water and constantly exposed to a high moisture content in the air, LSI needed to find a wood that they could be confident would deliver durability, dimensional stability and aesthetics. Accoya wood presented the perfect answer.
Accoya, supplied by International Timber, was used for cladding and decking. The glue laminated Accoya wood for the curved rear screen was manufactured by Newnham & Abel Ltd and hand finished with a protective merbau-coloured coating from WoodGuard by Guard Industrie. The same finish was factory applied to the cladding.

This custom landscape installation in Parker, Colorado was designed to complement a newly built home with a clean, Modern Country aesthetic. As part of a large‑scale exterior project in the Metro Denver area, the landscape was crafted to enhance curb appeal, support long‑term durability, and create a welcoming outdoor environment that feels cohesive with the home’s architecture and surrounding terrain.
The design focuses on structure, simplicity, and natural flow—key elements of Modern Country style. Hardscape features establish strong visual lines and functional outdoor spaces, while plant selections were chosen for climate suitability, seasonal interest, and long‑term sustainability. Each component was tailored to the property’s layout and the homeowner’s vision for a refined yet inviting exterior.
Because this is a new‑construction landscape, the installation serves as the foundation for the home’s future outdoor living potential. The layout balances open areas with defined planting zones, ensuring the landscape will mature beautifully over time. Materials and colors were selected to harmonize with the home’s exterior finishes, creating a unified look from the street to the entryway and throughout the property.
This project reflects the thoughtful planning and craftsmanship behind every Stone & Flower Gardens installation—bringing together design, function, and Colorado’s natural beauty to create an exterior that feels timeless, resilient, and ready to grow with the home.

We replaced a dowdy colonial style mass produced painted mantle with a boldly modern marble wall to serve as the fireplace breast. The walls washed with light to either side will provide gallery space for the owner's collection of wall hangings. Rather than becoming a background for the decor, the mantle is now a key element of it.

This modern farmhouse is instantly appealing with a metal accent roof, board-and-batten siding, and simple gable brackets. A spacious front porch leads to a welcoming entry through double doors while an open design creates an easy flow in the living spaces. The gourmet kitchen enjoys a center island and built-in corner pantry. A convenient drop zone is just inside the garage entry for bags, coats, and shoes. Natural light is a key element throughout this design, with large windows in every bedroom, a sun-tunnel in the master closet, and skylights in the dining room and screened porch.

Black siding transformed this home in Maple Grove. This project left a lasting impression, transforming a home with worn and outdated vinyl siding which had been damaged by hail and Minnesota’s harsh climate, in a lakeside retreat. The homeowners sought a fresh look that would elevate both the aesthetic and functionality of their property, making the most of the beautiful lakeside views.
The first major update involved replacing the tired vinyl siding with James Hardie board and batten siding in the striking Shou Sugi Ban color. This deep, rich color brings an elegant, modern look to the home, offering both timeless appeal and exceptional durability. The board and batten style adds texture and sophistication, making the home stand out in the neighborhood.
To complement the dark siding, light-colored cultured stone was added to the front and lakeside, creating a beautiful contrast and enhancing the home’s curb appeal. The cultured stone not only adds a natural, rustic feel but also integrates seamlessly with the overall design, providing a warm, inviting entrance and lakeside view.
Another key element of the remodel was the transformation of the home’s windows. A bank of smaller windows was removed, replaced by a massive Marvin window that now serves as the focal point of the living room, offering unobstructed views of the serene lake. The project also included the removal of several diamond-shaped windows and a six-foot patio door, which were replaced with a sleek 16-foot patio door. This new installation opened up the space, flooding the home with natural light and creating a seamless connection between the interior and the outdoor beauty of the lake.
With these updates, the home in Maple Grove is now a stunning showcase of modern design and functionality, blending sophisticated materials with breathtaking views.

*BEFORE PICTURE*
This fully virtual design project was a collaboration with a Connecticut-based designer for a young professional woman looking to refresh her bathroom.
The goal was to blend mid-century modern elegance with contemporary luxury, creating a sophisticated, functional retreat.
I worked around key elements the client already had, like gold faucets and shower hardware, and took charge of selecting everything else—from limestone polished floor tiles to deep green zellige bathroom tiles, a custom toilet room door, wallpaper, and decorative accents. I designed a neutral color palette to complement the tiles and added a gold wall sconce, tying the space together with sophistication.
The heated towel rack and matching accents brought warmth to the space, all coordinated online with samples delivered across the country.

An Italian inspired design, highlighting the incorporation of hand carved artisanal details within key elements of the overall design. Emphasized through the use of a coat of patina, the mahogany tone contrasts effectively with the lighter materials of the countertops, backsplash, and floor.

Sunset Construction and Design specializes in creating residential patio retreats, outdoor kitchens with fireplaces and luxurious outdoor living rooms. Our design-build service can turn an ordinary back yard into a natural extension of your home giving you a whole new dimension for entertaining or simply unwinding at the end of the day.
Today, almost any activity you enjoy inside your home you can bring to the outside. Depending on your budget, your outdoor room can be simple, with a stamped concrete patio, a grill and a table for dining, or more elaborate with a fully functional outdoor kitchen complete with concrete countertops for preparing and serving food, a sink and a refrigerator. You can take the concept even further by adding such amenities as a concrete pizza oven, a fireplace or fire-pit, a concrete bar-top for serving cocktails, an architectural concrete fountain, landscape lighting and concrete statuary.
Cooking
Something to cook with, such as a barbecue grill or wood-fired pizza oven, and countertops for food preparation and serving are key elements in a well-designed outdoor kitchen. Concrete countertops offer the advantages of weather resistance and versatility, since they can be formed into any shape you desire to suit the space. A coat of sealer will simplify cleanup by protecting your countertop from stains. Other amenities, such as concrete bar-tops and outdoor sinks with plumbing, can expand your entertainment options.
Hearth
Wood-burning or gas fireplaces, fire pits, chimineas and portable patio heaters extend the enjoyment of outdoor living well into the evening while creating a cozy conversation area for people to gather around.
If you’re interested in converting a boring back yard or starting from scratch in a new home, look us up! A great patio and outdoor living area can easily be yours. Greg, Sunset Construction & Design in Fresno, CA.
