A brightened space with reflective surfaces that enhance the natural light in the room. High gloss metallic finish on the cabinetry creates a contemporary aesthetic paired with custom painted glass doors. Repurposed light fixtures twinkle above the kitchen island, and wood slab doors add warmth and anchor the space with the flooring. As a final touch, custom concrete sinks were stained to match the cabinets, and a custom tile niche was created for the homeowner’s sculpture display.

This space had the potential for greatness but was stuck in the 1980's era. We were able to transform and re-design this kitchen that now enables it to be called not just a "dream Kitchen", but also holds the award for "Best Kitchen in Westchester for 2016 by Westchester Home Magazine". Features in the kitchen are as follows: Inset cabinet construction, Maple Wood, Onyx finish, Raised Panel Door, sliding ladder, huge Island with seating, pull out drawers for big pots and baking pans, pullout storage under sink, mini bar, overhead television, builtin microwave in Island, massive stainless steel range and hood, Office area, Quartz counter top.

Featured in Montreal Home 2015 Kitchen issue. Well situated in Mont Royal, this split-level home had many positives apart from its dated interior, and layout of many small and inefficient rooms. This was all at odds with the owners’ lifestyle and aesthetic. The client had architectural plans designed for a third floor addition that were to include a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The desired look for the entire house influenced all aspects of construction. Apart from the removal most walls on the main floor, everything was stripped back to the most simple and pure of finishing materials. The existing floors were refinished in a smoked grey matte palette and offset the rich warm walnut accents in the kitchen and soft white walls. With an abundance of white walls throughout, feature walls were essential in both the master bedroom and ensuite. The deep charcoal wall in the bedroom provides dramatic contrast to the teak headboard and hammered silver light fixture. The ensuite’s feature wall is made of pewter ceramic tiles that add texture and elegance to this simple space. Materials and furnishings throughout were selected for their simplicity and form. Tara Striano In the conjoined kitchen and dining room, an array of Niche handmade glass pendant lights create a stunning centerpiece. Above the kitchen island, an Amber Pod, Gray and Amber Oculo, Smoke Aurora, Gray Bell Jar, Gray Terra, and Smoke Bella work together to form a linear lighting display. The warm colors of our luxurious glass complement the blackened steel and glass cabinets as well as the stained wood floor. The use of different pendant shapes and colors adds a bit of playfulness to the interior and ensures that the large island with seating acts as a central gathering space.
