We remodeled this outdated bathroom transforming it into a new bathroom paradise. The new barrier free walk-in shower is a great new focal point. The tile design and installation are awesome. The porcelain tiles do a great job mimicking true marble without the downsides of natural stone. The simple lines to the new Fieldstone cabinetry in Inset construction with the Charlaine door style In Dove painted finish pop against the new blue painted walls. Nu heat under tile heated floors and new heated towel bars make sure your nice and warm when getting in and out of the shower. The shower bench seat and new vanity countertop are MSI Quartz in Calacatta Classique match the shower tiles seamlessly. The single glass panel in the shower prevents water from going outside the shower without detracting from the large open feel of the bathroom.

Clear globes were chosen for the light pendants and recessed lighting in the ceiling so that there was no visual interference with the wall tile. The installation of the backsplash tile on this extremely large exposed wall had to overcome the wall’s significant lack of plumb which had to be corrected and made perfectly straight.

The existing laundry room needed a total face-lift, including new white cabinetry; new GE appliances and a large laundry tub sink to facilitate easily completed chores. The large scale, 24” floor tiles help create a roomy feeling, so as not to feel trapped in what seemed like a dungeon previously. Complete bathroom remodel Summer 2013. This bath offers generous space without going overboard in square footage. The homeowner chose to go with a large double vanity, a nice shower with custom features a shower seat. We decided to keep the existing tub and deck it with carrara marble. The vanity area shown in this photo has plenty of storage for bathroom appliances in the tower. Below the mirrored wall cabinets we added a open towel storage space below. The mirrors were cased out with the matching woodwork, crown detail and carrara tile mosaics on each side. The countertop is Carrara slab marble with undermount Marzi sinks. The Kallista faucets are wall mounted, we was chosen in chrome since it was an easier finish to maintain for years to come. The floor tile is a 20 x 20 Silver Strand with a Carrara Marble strip set in straight. The backsplash to the vanity is the companion carrara mosaic random. Vaulted ceilings add to the dramatic feel of this bath. The polished nickel Restoration glass globe chandelier also adds to the dramatic glamour of the bath. The shower has three zones function, with a polished gray porcelain tile, mixed with split face white marble and carrara marble mosaics. This luxury bath sets its residence in Houston Texas.

DEMO - We removed the tub shower combo, flooring, vanities, commode room walls, and removed the mirrored doors to the master closet. THE REMODEL - We created a large zero threshold walk-in shower that is complete with 24x48 Charme series Calcatta Gold LARGE format tiles and a a 12” deco column down the middle with a 2x6 Abaco Mosaic. For the vanity, we added a beautiful floating cabinet topped with Monte Cristo Granite in a Satin finish. The under cabinet lighting and light up Mirror were supplied by our client. The wood look tile flooring was also installed throughout the bathroom, bedroom, and a few other rooms throughout the home. Finally, After removing those walls for the commode room, we were able to open up more room for the overall bathroom and then we reframed the Master Closet opening to add double doors & framed a new entry door.

It’s the mixture of neutral colored tiles contrasted against dark stained cabinets that provide dimension to the new Keller, TX bathroom design. The element of natural light is reflected through the new obscure glass window, frameless glass shower, polished nickel fixtures and mirrors, enhancing the contemporary bathroom look.
