Kitchen designed using Brookhaven frameless cabinetry by Wood-Mode. Perimeter cabinetry is made in maple wood with an off-white opaque finish with a glaze. The island cabinetry is made in cherry wood with a mid-range stain with a black glaze. The hood is a custom plaster hood with wood mouldings above a 48" Wolf range. Design includes Leondoro Polished Granite for the countertops.

This bedroom was fun to complete, i used blue as the base for the walls and ceiling. The only thing existing was the bed, so i played with a heavier wood with a gray wash for the thick floating shelves. The base drawers have a huge amount of storage for toys, the tops are corian which can take abuse from trains and cars. The collection of colors go with his favorite things which are trains..at the moment

With an 8,000 square foot home, energy conservation becomes very important. Leviton is monitoring four outside heaters as well as six air handlers inside the home.control of over 120 light switches ,20 whole house audio zones, Sonance speakers, in-wall subs with dolby surround system.

This lovely River North remodel features many new and bright things. The floors are Anima Statuario porcelain tile that includes a lovely swirl of black. Blue-green cabinets hide a surprise kitty litter box inside. On top of the cabinets sits under-mount sinks with brass widespread lavatory faucets. The shower features a sit-down bench and lovely in the wall shelf. A handheld showerhead is accompanied by a wall-mounted one as well as a three jet shower system.

Our homeowners approached us for design help shortly after purchasing a fixer upper. They wanted to redesign the home into an open concept plan. Their goal was something that would serve multiple functions: allow them to entertain small groups while accommodating their two small children not only now but into the future as they grow up and have social lives of their own. They wanted the kitchen opened up to the living room to create a Great Room. The living room was also in need of an update including the bulky, existing brick fireplace. They were interested in an aesthetic that would have a mid-century flair with a modern layout. We added built-in cabinetry on either side of the fireplace mimicking the wood and stain color true to the era. The adjacent Family Room, needed minor updates to carry the mid-century flavor throughout.

Details: The integrated stainless steel sink was custom fabricated by the countertop craftspeople. It has crisp corners, a lowered center divider (to minimize splash from the faucet) and offset drains (to push back the plumbing so as to allow for better cabinet storage below). To the right of the sink is a subtle detail (look closely at the reflections to see it), but one that adds great functionality: a sloped, recessed drainboard directs water back into the sink. The window is trimmed tight to the cabinets on either side with custom maple millwork, and has a built-in shelf above--again with trim up to the ceiling. The shelf provides a nice spot for favorite curios and mementos. The pendant light above the sink is actually an LED fixture with an Edison style bulb. Stainless steel outlet and switch covers over black devices pull the design together. Under-cabinet xenon lighting highlights the tile.

The name Voluptas, meaning desire, was chosen because the lights in this collection can change and adapt to the desire for light in any direction.
