Solid Apollo LED. The owner of this kitchen wanted to bring extra light to the counter tops without ruining the look of the from the renovation of the kitchen area. LED strip lights and matching connectors were used to create a clean and simple installation. The color used is warm white, to compliment the tan and brown colors already used throughout the kitchen. Snap and lite interconnectors were used at each of the corners for quick solder-less connections. A Micro LED Dimmer was hidden under the lip of the undercabinet for a hidden switch to turn the lights on and off and also to fully dim them.

Designed for a client who wanted a light, bright airy feeling in their kitchen, we chose painted cabinets arranged in an open floor plan around a dark-stained cooking island. To meet the kitchen's varied demands throughout the day, we incorporated multiple types of lighting: dramatic niche lights to highlight the client's art and to give ambiance; targeted task lighting under cabinets and over the stove; and ample recessed ceiling lights for bright, overall coverage. The art niches and under-cabinet lights are on a Lutron Pico wall-mounted remote dimmer, allowing you to change the room's mood with the click of a button. The stainless steel Heartland 6-burner gas stove and free-standing chimney hood create a striking focal point, while the other custom-paneled appliances integrate seamlessly into the surrounding cabinets. Directly behind the stove is the hand-carved travertine farm sink, and a deep garden window that offers more display space for the clients artwork. The backsplash is a mosaic of roughhewn travertine stones with carved travertine switch plate covers, complimenting the St. Cecilia granite countertops throughout the kitchen.

Set in Montana's tranquil Shields River Valley, the Shilo Ranch Compound is a collection of structures that were specifically built on a relatively smaller scale, to maximize efficiency. The main house has two bedrooms, a living area, dining and kitchen, bath and adjacent greenhouse, while two guest homes within the compound can sleep a total of 12 friends and family. There's also a common gathering hall, for dinners, games, and time together. The overall feel here is of sophisticated simplicity, with plaster walls, concrete and wood floors, and weathered boards for exteriors. The placement of each building was considered closely when envisioning how people would move through the property, based on anticipated needs and interests. Sustainability and consumption was also taken into consideration, as evidenced by the photovoltaic panels on roof of the garage, and the capability to shut down any of the compound's buildings when not in use.

Bright and Bold Kitchen remodel. This client wanted a new more open brighter kitchen so we removed the existing wall between the old kitchen and dining room. This created a new larger kitchen space open to a semi-formal dining area. We removed the existing dining room window and one of the existing old kitchen windows and installed a new large 8’ window centered on the new dining area. Now with the new kitchen layout and 2 large windows in combination with Fabuwood Cabinetry in the Nexus door style with Frost finish the kitchen feels clean, open and bright. The client wanted something to be unique and really “pop” so Fabuwood custom painted the island in Sherman Williams SW6503 Bosporus . The countertops are Jet Mist granite with a honed finish with a large white farm sink and Brizo touch faucet. We replaced the flooring with Sedona Oak Burma Beige hand scraped hardwood. The tile backsplash is Crystile Wave Bright White 4x12 textured glass tiles by My Way Tile ( probably my person favorite part of this project ). All the clients and designers selections along with the new floor plan really made this remodel come together to be a great new space.
