We recently completed a project in Bend, OR, for a client’s man cave, which he affectionately calls his motorcycle café. We used one of our modular cabinetry designs to accommodate his changing needs, making it the perfect solution as he navigated a recent life change. Additionally, if he decides to move, he can take the cabinetry with him to use in his new space, making this solution very versatile and cost-effective over the long term.

For this complete master bathroom renovation, our client wanted a surface that captured the beauty of Calacatta Gold Marble—without the maintenance or cost of the real thing. Using epoxy, we recreated the soft white base with gentle gold and gray veining, finishing it off with custom waterfall edges on both counters for a sleek, seamless look. The result? A warm, serene space with elevated style and long-term durability.

The project involved installing James Hardie board and batten panels, creating strong vertical lines that complement the home’s multi-story design. The fiber-cement material provides excellent resistance to moisture, heat, and pests—making it ideal for Gulf Coast conditions. Photography: Peter Rymwid This 14-bedroom mansion of two-term New York City mayor William Russell Grace--who was mayor when the Statue of Liberty was gifted to NYC by France--was built in Great Neck in 1890 by Italian artisans. The 120-year-old, the mansion underwent a gut renovation on the interior as well as a substantial exterior redevelopment. Despite the extensive changes, we were careful to preserve the charm of this historic Gold Coast estate.

Debbie Slovin This was a long term project that took almost a year to complete. Owners bought a unique Sea Pines home that required some major remodeling. We also added artwork and furniture to complete the modern design. The plexiglass and brass railing was replaced with a sleek wire, metal and wood design. A cumbersome back staircase was removed and a sleek spiral staircase added to the living room. We used the clients existing coffee table, console table and end table from the early sixties and painted them a glossy black. They add a mid-century look to the design. The long hallways on either side of the living room were used to display abstract art.
