This Houston, Texas River Oaks home went through a complete remodel of their master bathroom. Originally, it was a bland rectangular space with a misplaced shower in the center of the bathroom; partnered with a built-in tub against the window. We redesigned the new space by completely gutting the old bathroom. We decided to make the space flow more consistently by working with the rectangular layout and then created a master bathroom with free-standing tub inside the shower enclosure. The tub was floated inside the shower by the window. Next, we added a large bench seat with an oversized mosaic glass backdrop by Lunada Bay "Agate Taiko. The 9’ x 9’ shower is fully enclosed with 3/8” seamless glass. The furniture-like vanity was custom built with decorative overlays on the mirror doors to match the shower mosaic tile design. Further, we bleached the hickory wood to get the white wash stain on the cabinets. The floor tile is 12" x 24" Athena Sand with a linear mosaic running the length of the room. This tranquil spa bath has many luxurious amenities such as a Bain Ultra Air Tub, "Evanescence" with Brizo Virage Lavatory faucets and fixtures in a brushed bronze brilliance finish. Overall, this was a drastic, yet much needed change for my client.

Luxurious Master Bath years in the making. Although it only took 3 months to create this gorgeous space, it took awhile to accumulate all of special pieces that make up the whole. From the hand painted sink, gold sconces, hand painted cabinet, gold toilet paper holder etc. Every where you turn there is something beautiful to behold. A wall was removed between the original very small shower room and dressing area to create this expansive space.

In this bathroom we updated the existing vanity with Eternia quartz in Lavington color with straight polish edge and 4 in backsplash and accented with Richlelieu’s contemporary hardware pull in brushed nickel and Delta lavatory faucet in chrome with 2 Kichler Granby 1-light vanity scones in chrome. A 63” Beijing Acrylic Free-standing soaker tub in white was installed with Delta Refinia floor mount tub filler. In the shower, a Pulse Shower-Spa with rain showerhead and multi-function handheld was installed. The shower is Tyvarian panels, base, threshold with 2 curved corner shelves in Fantasy Grey color. The glass accent tile in the shower CTI Fusion Ana Fuci Random. Also installed is a Pulse Kauai III Showerspa and 3/8” heavy clear glass shower enclosure.

A custom floating vanity made of reclaimed wood, and a concrete composite vessel sink, along with subway tile run in a vertical off-set pattern keep the small space clean and free of visual clutter.

I used a patterned tile on the floor, warm wood on the vanity, and dark molding on the walls to give this small bathroom a ton of character.

This is an older house in Rice University that needed an updated master bathroom. The original shower was only 36" x 36". Spa Bath Renovation Spring 2014, Design, Reorganize and Build. We moved the tub, shower and toilet to different locations to make the bathroom look more organized. We used pure white caeserstone counter tops, hansgrohe metris faucet, glass mosaic tile (Daltile - City Lights), stand silver 12 x 24 porcelain floor cut into 4 x 24 strips to make the chevron pattern on the floor, shower glass panel, shower niche, rain shower head, wet bath floating tub. The walls feature a amazing wallpaper by Carl Robinson, my favorite designer! Custom cabinets in a grey stain with mirror doors and circle overlays. The tower in center features charging station for toothbrushes, iPADs, and cell phones. Spacious Spa Bath. TV in bathroom, large chandelier in bathroom. Half circle cabinet doors with mirrors. Anther chandelier in a master bathroom.
