This master bathroom is in the middle of a rowhouse with no opportunity for windows. In order to bring in natural light, we created a giant skylight above the vanity, and ran the mirror right up into it. The skylight is slightly tilted in order to shed water, which allows it to capture a reflected view of a beautiful maple tree at the front of the house.

In this master bath we took out the jacuzzi tub, took out a wall to increase vanity space, built a giant shower where the old tub was and replaced the window with rain glass and a PVC frame. Think you can't have a large shower because there's a window there? Think again. Anything is possible.

Many people can’t see beyond the current aesthetics when looking to buy a house, but this innovative couple recognized the good bones of their mid-century style home in Golden’s Applewood neighborhood and were determined to make the necessary updates to create the perfect space for their family.
In order to turn this older residence into a modern home that would meet the family’s current lifestyle, we replaced all the original windows with new, wood-clad black windows. The design of window is a nod to the home’s mid-century roots with modern efficiency and a polished appearance. We also wanted the interior of the home to feel connected to the awe-inspiring outside, so we opened up the main living area with a vaulted ceiling. To add a contemporary but sleek look to the fireplace, we crafted the mantle out of cold rolled steel. The texture of the cold rolled steel conveys a natural aesthetic and pairs nicely with the walnut mantle we built to cap the steel, uniting the design in the kitchen and the built-in entryway.
Everyone at Factor developed rich relationships with this beautiful family while collaborating through the design and build of their freshly renovated, contemporary home. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to work with such amazing people, creating inspired spaces that enhance the quality of their lives.

Large minimalist master ceramic tile corner bathtub photo in Omaha with an undermount sink, raised-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, a one-piece toilet and beige walls

This home was transformed into a farmhouse glam space with master suite, custom bathrooms, spacious kitchen with giant island and more. Features include exposed beam, new brick product, custom built kitchen island, stunning master bathroom & more.

The owners of this mid-century post-and-beam Pasadena house overlooking the Arroyo Seco asked us to add onto and adapt the house to meet their current needs. The renovation infused the home with a contemporary aesthetic while retaining the home's original character (reminiscent of Cliff May's Ranch-style houses) the project includes and extension to the master bedroom, a new outdoor living room, and updates to the pool, pool house, landscape, and hardscape. we were also asked to design and fabricate custom cabinetry for the home office and an aluminum and glass table for the dining room.
