No corner of this house remained untouched in this massive home renovation. The previous primary bedroom was the ideal location for a main floor guest suite and required the fewest overall changes. Relocating the closet gave us the opportunity to move the ensuite bath into its place. To capitalize on the stunning view there, we placed the clawfoot slipper tub directly in front of the new window. The allotted space was only five and a half feet wide, so we had to be very intentional with the layout. By installing two windows on either side of the vanity mirror, the compact space feels noticeably larger and brighter. The full-height black wall tile adds striking drama and contrasts beautifully with the custom walnut vanity. The powder room, converted from the former hall bathroom, was the perfect spot to introduce bolder, more dramatic elements, offering a striking contrast to the soothing neutral tones throughout the rest of the house. The whimsical bird painting, gifted to the homeowner by a dear artist friend, inspired this space, particularly the wall color which was custom matched to the bird’s red crown. Black Marble Hexagon floor tiles offer a luxurious base for the gorgeous brass console sink. The vanity light, chosen for its pineapple shape symbolizing hospitality, was one of the first design selections, aptly reflecting the homeowner’s love for entertaining. Overall, it’s a fun and vibrant space!

This luxury primary bathroom renovation by Elite Kitchen & Bath transformed an outdated space into a modern spa retreat with refined architectural detailing and high-end finishes. The design features a steam shower with a heated bench, floating Italian cabinetry, seamless glass detailing, textured soaking tub, and natural light integration that enhances both function and serenity. This full gut renovation transformed an outdated primary bathroom in a suburban modern home into a serene spa-inspired retreat centered around natural light, privacy, and architectural simplicity. The clients wanted a highly functional luxury bathroom that felt calm, open, and refined while incorporating premium materials, modern detailing, and wellness-focused features. The project scope included: • Complete demolition and redesign of the existing bathroom • Reconfiguration of the shower and tub layout • Installation of custom Italian cabinetry and integrated storage • Full slab-style porcelain wall and floor applications • Structural modifications to accommodate a new shower transom • Integration of radiant comfort and steam shower features The primary objectives were to: • Create a spa-like atmosphere with a minimalist aesthetic • Increase privacy within the shower area without sacrificing natural light • Minimize visual clutter through seamless detailing • Improve comfort and daily functionality • Introduce layered luxury through material selection and architectural detailing Key features included a steam shower with heated bench, frameless glass shower enclosure with minimal visible metal, floating Italian cabinetry, recessed features, a sculptural textured soaking tub, and carefully positioned natural light at the makeup area to eliminate the need for traditional vanity lighting.

The Setup For this primary bathroom project, the homeowners sought to transform their outdated, beige-toned space into a bright, functional sanctuary. The existing bathroom felt cramped and lifeless, with a small shower and limited storage options. The goal was to create a fresh, updated bathroom that maximizes the existing footprint while addressing specific desires for a more open, organized space with timeless materials. Design objectives: Brighten the bathroom and eliminate the dated beige color scheme Install a freestanding tub in a compact space Create a larger, more open shower without encroaching on the existing foot print too much Incorporate hidden storage solutions Maintain the existing bathroom layout while improving functionality Update lighting and fixtures to create a contemporary feel The Remodel Design challenges to be solved: - Compact Space Utilization – The small bathroom required careful planning to accommodate a freestanding tub while maintaining functionality and avoiding overcrowding. - Hidden Storage Integration – The clients wanted a discreet hamper solution that wouldn’t clutter the limited floor space. - Shower Niche Placement – With plumbing limitations and the clients’ desire to preserve their wavy accent tile wall, finding the perfect niche spot became a creative puzzle. - Tile and Finish Coordination – Selecting complementary white tile and floor materials that worked harmoniously together. - Larger Shower Space – Make the shower feel more open and brighter The Renewed Space Design solutions: - Strategic Tub Placement – The freestanding tub was carefully positioned to maximize space, with its faucet strategically placed to allow easy access while preserving walking room. We reduced the counter depth just a bit by the tub, allowing more room for hamper cabinet and window access. - Concealed Hamper Storage – A custom pull-out hamper was integrated into the vanity (right side, by tub), providing discreet storage within an 18-inch depth constraint. - Shower Plumbing Wall Niche – We shifted the niche left, just enough to work around the plumbing infrastructure and still score a roomy storage spot that looks intentional. - Sophisticated Selections – Porcelanosa curvy white tile, Kohler brushed gold fixtures, and a neutral grey tile floor created a simple, timeless aesthetic that will be loved years to come. - Open Shower – Replacing the side wall with a clear glass surround, continuing the tile on the ceiling and extending the footprint opened up this area to the room while allowing more natural lighting into the shower space. This bathroom transformation shows how thoughtful design turns challenges into opportunities. Brushed gold fixtures add warmth to the fresh white palette, while the perfectly balanced floor tile brings just the right depth. A partially glass-fronted vanity introduces subtle charm, giving the space a unique edge. Once cramped and outdated, this bathroom now feels bright, spacious, and serene—a testament to how every design detail makes a difference.

Perched on Great Neck in Ipswich, MA, this coastal renovation was all about unlocking the home’s stunning ocean views. The original layout left the ground level disconnected from its breathtaking surroundings, so we flipped the bedrooms to the front by converting an underused porch. This allowed us to introduce an elegant new bath and laundry area, offering effortless access for post-boating cleanups. A striking custom spiral staircase was added for seamless flow while preserving the integrity of the upper level, which will be tackled in Phase 2. Beyond aesthetics, we remediated a major mold issue, ensuring a safe and healthy retreat. Thoughtful material selections—teak, Moderne Brass, Calacatta Glitz, and rich red oak—bring warmth and modern refinement to this refreshed waterfront escape.

This project was such an incredible design opportunity, and instilled inspiration and excitement at every turn! Our amazing clients came to us with the challenge of converting their beloved family home into a welcoming haven for all members of the family. At the time that we met our clients, they were struggling with the difficult personal decision of the fate of the home. Their father/father-in-law had passed away and their mother/mother-in-law had recently been admitted into a nursing facility and was fighting Alzheimer’s. Resistant to loss of the home now that both parents were out of it, our clients purchased the home to keep in in the family. Despite their permanent home currently being in New Jersey, these clients dedicated themselves to keeping and revitalizing the house. We were moved by the story and became immediately passionate about bringing this dream to life. The home was built by the parents of our clients and was only ever owned by them, making this a truly special space to the family. Our goal was to revitalize the home and to bring new energy into every room without losing the special characteristics that were original to the home when it was built. In this way, we were able to develop a house that maintains its own unique personality while offering a space of welcoming neutrality for all members of the family to enjoy over time. The renovation touched every part of the home: the exterior, foyer, kitchen, living room, sun room, garage, six bedrooms, three bathrooms, the laundry room, and everything in between. The focus was to develop a style that carried consistently from space to space, but allowed for unique expression in the small details in every room. Starting at the entry, we renovated the front door and entry point to offer more presence and to bring more of the mid-century vibe to the home’s exterior. We integrated a new modern front door, cedar shingle accents, new exterior paint, and gorgeous contemporary house numbers that really allow the home to stand out. Just inside the entry, we renovated the foyer to create a playful entry point worthy of attention. Cement look tile adorns the foyer floor, and we’ve added new lighting and upgraded the entry coat storage. Upon entering the home, one will immediately be captivated by the stunning kitchen just off the entry. We transformed this space in just about every way. While the footprint of the home ultimately remained almost identical, the aesthetics were completely turned on their head. We re-worked the kitchen to maximize storage and to create an informal dining area that is great for casual hosting or morning coffee. We removed the entry to the garage that was once in the informal dining, and created a peninsula in its place that offers a unique division between the kitchen/informal dining and the formal dining and living areas. The simple light warm light gray cabinetry offers a bit of traditional elegance, along with the marble backsplash and quartz countertops. We extended the original wood flooring into the kitchen and stained all floors to match for a warmth that truly resonates through all spaces. We upgraded appliances, added lighting everywhere, and finished the space with some gorgeous mid century furniture pieces. In the formal dining and living room, we really focused on maintaining the original marble fireplace as a focal point. We cleaned the marble, repaired the mortar, and refinished the original fireplace screen to give a new sleek look in black. We then integrated a new gas insert for modern heating and painted the upper portion in a rich navy blue; an accent that is carried through the home consistently as a nod to our client’s love of the color. The former entry into the old covered porch is now an elegant glass door leading to a stunning finished sunroom. This room was completely upgraded as well. We wrapped the entire space in cozy white shiplap to keep a casual feel with brightness. We tiled the floor with large format concrete look tile, and painted the old brick fireplace a bright white. We installed a new gas burning unit, and integrated transitional style lighting to bring warmth and elegance into the space. The new black-frame windows are adorned with decorative shades that feature hand-sketched bird prints, and we’ve created a dedicated garden-ware “nook” for our client who loves to work in the yard. The far end of this space is completed with two oversized chaise loungers and overhead lights…the most perfect little reading nook! Just off the dining room, we created an entirely new space to the home: a mudroom. The clients lacked this space and desperately needed a landing spot upon entering the home from the garage. We uniquely planned existing space in the garage to utilize for this purpose, and were able to create a small but functional entry point without losing the ability to park cars in the garage. This new space features cement-look tile, gorgeous deep brown cabinetry, and plenty of storage for all the small items one might need to store while moving in and out of the home. The remainder of the upstairs level includes massive renovations to the guest hall bathroom and guest bedroom, upstairs master bed/bath suite, and a third bedroom that we converted into a home office for the client. Some of the largest transformations were made in the basement, where unfinished space and lack of light were converted into gloriously lit, cozy, finished spaces. Our first task was to convert the massive basement living room into the new master bedroom for our clients. We removed existing built-ins, created an entirely new walk-in closet, painted the old brick fireplace, installed a new gas unit, added carpet, introduced new lighting, replaced windows, and upgraded every part of the aesthetic appearance. One of the most incredible features of this space is the custom double sliding barn door made by a Denver artisan. This space is truly a retreat for our clients! We also completely transformed the laundry room, back storage room, basement master bathroom, and two bedrooms. This home’s massive scope and ever-evolving challenges were thrilling and exciting to work with, and the result is absolutely amazing. At the end of the day, this home offers a look and feel that the clients love. Above all, though, the clients feel the spirit of their family home and have a welcoming environment for all members of the family to enjoy for years to come.

THE PROBLEM Our client had recently purchased a beautiful home on the Merrimack River with breathtaking views. Unfortunately the views did not extend to the primary bedroom which was on the front of the house. In addition, the second floor did not offer a secondary bathroom for guests or other family members. THE SOLUTION Relocating the primary bedroom with en suite bath to the front of the home introduced complex framing requirements, however we were able to devise a plan that met all the requirements that our client was seeking. In addition to a riverfront primary bedroom en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a new full bathroom, a small deck was built off the primary bedroom offering expansive views through the full height windows and doors. Updates from custom stained hardwood floors, paint throughout, updated lighting and more completed every room of the floor.

In the primary bedroom, our focus was on creating a space that felt both elevated and comfortable with a masculine edge. We brightened the room with a dynamic abstract wallpaper mural, introducing movement and visual depth. The large existing mirror was repositioned between the windows to expand the sense of scale, making the room feel even more spacious. Leather seating and a bench add strength and richness, while the channeled upholstered bed and plush bedding soften the overall feel. Updated wood flooring, new nightstands, and a custom built-in infuse warmth and ground the space in natural elements. A plush area rug provides comfort underfoot, while woven window treatments add texture and complement the darker tones in the wallpaper. The design carefully balances black and gray tones with bright accents to maintain an airy feel. Gold finishes and mixed metals were layered throughout, tying into the home’s broader design palette. A new ceiling fan with wood-toned blades harmonizes with the natural elements and furnishings. The result is a bedroom that feels polished, grounded, and richly layered with materials and textures.

Introducing our latest Infill build located on the ridge in Bridgeland, and overlooking the beautiful city of Calgary. This modern home took the team 8 months to build. Its open space concept features two 13" foot islands in the kitchen, a custom built wine room and wine 'shelf', gigantic concrete tiles with in-floor heating throughout, and coffered ceilings accented with natural barn wood. Above grade living space is 3,600 square feet, while the finished basement total 1,250.

The expansive shower walls created the perfect opportunity to introduce a thoughtfully curated accent tile, adding depth, texture, and visual interest while breaking up the broad expanse of slate-gray porcelain tile. This designer detail transforms the shower into a striking architectural feature, creating a sophisticated focal point that enhances the overall luxury aesthetic of the primary bathroom. By layering complementary materials and refined textures, the shower achieves a balanced, spa-inspired design that feels both contemporary and timeless.

For this project, we reshaped the bathroom layout to highlight the sweeping water views and support a refined rhythm throughout the space. The vanity wall was reconstructed to introduce clean symmetry and abundant storage—an essential feature of any luxury apartment bathroom. We selected finishes that complement elegant bathroom design principles, including soft flooring tones and streamlined cabinetry. Modern bathroom design elements pair effortlessly with contemporary bathroom ideas, giving the room a polished yet comfortable character. The minimalist bathroom decor ensures visual clarity, while space-saving bathroom ideas maintain openness around the sculptural soaking tub. Focused on longevity and calm aesthetics, the final environment reflects a spa-inspired bathroom approach tailored for modern bathroom renovation standards.

Polished chrome finishes add a layer of shine throughout the space—from the widespread faucet to the shower fixtures, towel bars, and lighting. The trio of clear glass globe lights above the vanity introduces a warm glow while maintaining a light, airy feel.

This bedroom exudes timeless sophistication with a harmonious blend of textures and patterns. At its heart is a luxurious green velvet bed, framed by a striking floral grasscloth wallpaper that introduces depth and elegance. Layers of plush textiles and accent pillows in soft, coordinated hues invite relaxation and comfort. The room’s serene atmosphere is elevated by carefully curated details, including a sunburst mirror, framed artwork, and a sleek bedside lamp with a clear glass base. The subtle gray grasscloth wallpaper on adjacent walls adds a tactile richness, while touches of greenery bring a fresh, organic element. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a warm and tranquil retreat.

Our firm is currently undertaking a full-home interior renovation that reimagines the residence with elevated materials, thoughtful spatial planning, and modern luxury throughout. The transformation begins with a completely redesigned primary bathroom suite featuring elegant marble flooring, large-format porcelain wall tile, and new brass plumbing fixtures. The space is centered around a deep soaking tub with a 43-inch television mounted above, complemented by integrated surround sound to create a spa-like retreat that balances comfort and sophistication. Adjacent to the suite, the primary bedroom sitting area has been refreshed with new engineered wood flooring that flows seamlessly throughout the upper levels of the home. The space incorporates sculptural glass wall sconces, premium built-in cabinetry, a 63-inch television, and an entirely new furniture layout designed to enhance both relaxation and functionality. Two additional bathrooms on the top floor echo the home’s cohesive design language, utilizing porcelain floor and shower tile, newly installed cabinetry, and warm bronze hardware to create timeless yet durable spaces. Moving downstairs, the foyer makes an immediate statement with a six-foot grand chandelier composed of crystal and polished nickel, establishing a dramatic focal point upon entry. Just off the foyer, the powder room introduces a more intimate and layered design, featuring stone elements, darker wall tones, decorative wallpaper, and a custom wall-mounted marble sink. The space is further elevated with a smart toilet and a custom semi-coffered ceiling that adds architectural interest. The kitchen serves as the heart of the home and has been fully reimagined with semi-custom cabinetry, professional-grade appliances, and distinctive gold welded wire mesh featured in many of the upper cabinet doors. Undercabinet LED lighting enhances both functionality and ambiance, while brass footrails invite guests to comfortably gather in the space. Quartz countertops and a full-height quartz backsplash complete the design, while thoughtful hidden features—such as pullout trash cans, a mixer lift, cutlery dividers, and other integrated storage solutions—ensure everyday convenience. Engineered wood flooring runs throughout the kitchen and upper two levels, tying the home together with warmth and continuity. Most walls across these floors have been painted in Benjamin Moore 983 “Smokey Taupe,” while many of the ceilings feature “Silhouette” in a flat finish, adding subtle contrast and depth to the interiors. To keep things light and airy we brought in a very sleek and modern bedroom set that was functional as well as stylish. We introduced pops of yellow to brighten up the space and compliment the grey decor.
