Design Services Provided - Architect was asked to convert this 1950's Split Level Style home into a Traditional Style home with a 2-story height grand entry foyer. The new design includes modern amenities such as a large 'Open Plan' kitchen, a family room, a home office, an oversized garage, spacious bedrooms with large closets, a second floor laundry room and a private master bedroom suite for the owners that includes two walk-in closets and a grand master bathroom with a vaulted ceiling. The Architect presented the new design using Professional 3D Design Software. This approach allowed the Owners to clearly understand the proposed design and secondly, it was beneficial to the Contractors who prepared Preliminary Cost Estimates. The construction duration was nine months and the project was completed in September 2015. The client is thrilled with the end results! We established a wonderful working relationship and a lifetime friendship. I am truly thankful for this opportunity to design this home and work with this client!

In the master bedroom it only takes a push of a button to get your entertainment set up in your suite. It all starts with Lutron motorized shades gracefully moving down to cover the windows. Moments later your 55" Sony TV will descend from the hidden pocket in the ceiling.

Modern kids' room with built-in closets and drawers for ample storage. The beautiful custom-built queen-sized bed provides a focal point for the room. The symmetrical design adds some aesthetic character while a well-hidden trundle tucked underneath can be pulled out for sleepovers. All doors are push to open.

The updates feature new wood-finished cabinets with recessed panel doors, sleek white quartz countertops with a full backsplash, and a fresh push-in tub with gray tile in the guest bathroom. In the master bathroom, a new walk-in shower was installed to enhance both style and functionality.

Bathroom - mid-sized transitional master bathroom idea in Dallas

Located in an 1890 Wells Fargo stable and warehouse in the Hamilton Park historic district, this intervention focused on creating a personal, comfortable home in an unusually tall loft space. The living room features 45’ high ceilings. The mezzanine level was conceived as a porous, space-making element that allowed pockets of closed storage, open display, and living space to emerge from pushing and pulling the floor plane. The newly cantilevered mezzanine breaks up the immense height of the loft and creates a new TV nook and work space.
