This existing client reached out to MMI Design for help shortly after the flood waters of Harvey subsided. Her home was ravaged by 5 feet of water throughout the first floor. What had been this client's long-term dream renovation became a reality, turning the nightmare of Harvey's wrath into one of the loveliest homes designed to date by MMI. We led the team to transform this home into a showplace. Our work included a complete redesign of her kitchen and family room, master bathroom, two powders, butler's pantry, and a large living room. MMI designed all millwork and cabinetry, adjusted the floor plans in various rooms, and assisted the client with all material specifications and furnishings selections. Returning these clients to their beautiful '"new" home is one of MMI's proudest moments!

The focal point in the kitchen is the deep navy, French range positioned in an alcove trimmed in distressed natural wood and finished with handmade tile. The arched marble backsplash of the bar creates a dramatic focal point visible from the dining room.

A merge of modern lines with classic shapes and materials creates a refreshingly timeless appeal for these secondary bath remodels. All three baths showcasing different design elements with a continuity of warm woods, natural stone, and scaled lighting making them perfect for guest retreats.

Transitional white two-story brick exterior home idea in Houston

This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design. Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much. This Milwaukee, WI kitchen is the perfect example of Dura Supreme's recent launch of gray paint finishes, it has been interesting to see these new cabinetry colors suddenly flowing across our manufacturing floor, destined for homes around the country. We've already seen an enthusiastic acceptance of these new colors as homeowners started immediately selecting our various shades of gray paints, like this example of “Storm Gray”, for their new homes and remodeling projects! A face lift for one of our favorite clients//Traditional Master Suite Interior Design. When beginning to work with this couple, they loved their large scale, beautiful wood furniture. They tasked Senior Designer Cori Dyer with giving their Master Suite a face lift and a look worthy of the phrase Master "Suite" The result was a calm and crisp but still traditional, beautiful space. What we did: -Working with existing wood furniture...#seniordesignercoridyer changed the layout -Added a gray/blue velvet settee -Metal benches at the foot of the bed -Added custom chairs in the bay -Added simple and clean metal and marble side and coffee tables --Added secondary lighting and artwork -Replaced carpet with 8” plank hardwood What we Love : -The light and bright color palette -The layout and functionality of this space -We love how the existing furniture has a fresh face and looks cohesive with its new counterparts -We love that our clients love it.
