This design scheme blends femininity, sophistication, and the bling of Art Deco with earthy, natural accents. An amoeba-shaped rug breaks the linearity in the living room that’s furnished with a lady bug-red sleeper sofa with gold piping and another curvy sofa. These are juxtaposed with chairs that have a modern Danish flavor, and the side tables add an earthy touch. The dining area can be used as a work station as well and features an elliptical-shaped table with gold velvet upholstered chairs and bubble chandeliers. A velvet, aubergine headboard graces the bed in the master bedroom that’s painted in a subtle shade of silver. Abstract murals and vibrant photography complete the look. Kim Roberts, owner of Staging Beautifully, has a passion for creating beautiful spaces. From home staging to redecorating, Kim’s relaxed and friendly approach make even the most challenging project fun and enjoyable.
For those interested in refreshing their space, Staging Beautifully can assist a homeowner in decorating their home with the items they already own and love. Like staging, redesign may include color selection, rearranging furniture, hanging art and placing accessories. It is a cost effective design alternative which will give your home a facelift without the cost of an Interior Designer. Utilizing your furnishings and treasures, we will shop your home to find new and creative ways to display your family’s possessions. This will result in a complete interior transformation which will reflect your personality, style, comfort and functionality to your living space without having to buy anything.
Looking to sell your home, consider home staging to target a higher selling price. Home Staging aims to de-personalize your home and make it appealing to virtually all prospective buyers. The way you live in your home and the way you market your home are two very different things. Your home is competing with every other home on the market. A home that looks like it needs work or isn't move-in ready prompts buyers to low-ball their offers, or eliminate your home from consideration all together. Those homes that are staged to reflect current trends attract and appeal to more buyers, resulting in more offers, faster sales, and higher sale prices. Sometimes, an agent may even recommend your price be increased once your home is staged! A well-staged home can even start a bidding war with multiple offers!

"When we decided to renovate our newly purchased home we hired TaylorPro, owned by Kerry Taylor. We were extremely happy with his work - in fact, I can't imagine being happier. Our new kitchen is just beautiful as is the master bath and updates to other parts of our house. We hired Kerry while we were still living in Boston so keeping in touch was critical and Kerry corresponded with us very frequently, including photos to keep us apprised of the status of the various projects. Of course if there was a question it was asked almost immediately and he was wonderful about suggesting less expensive alternatives when that made sense. Throughout the project it felt like Kerry was remodeling his own home. He was all about quality. The remodel was finished in the time frame that Kerry had promised and on target with our budget. We love our new home. I hear so many people complain about their contractor. Not me. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. If you hire Kerry and his team you'll see what I mean."

Large Master bedroom with sliding glass doors to the front patio and views of boulders. Furniture mix includes a simple low modern king-size bed with a mix of bedding from West Elm, an African hand-embroidered black and white blanket, and a large custom lumbar Kathryn M Ireland pillow. The ceiling picture is a vintage 60's ceramic pendant, painted with Annie Sloan white chalk paint. A collection of vintage oil paintings -- several of desert scenes - capture the outdoor feeling and bring it inside A pink velvet French-style large bergere from Restoration Hardware somehow matches with the mid-century twig nightstands, and a pink formica boomerang side table. Bedside lamps from Target, and a mix of vintage bedside rugs include a rattan woven mat from IKEA. The bulk of the budget here went for a 100% latex mattress and the antique wooden bench at the foot of the bed. A true design mix.

This master bathroom oasis, designed and constructed by Godfrey Design-Build, perfectly balances modern crispness with rich, rustic textures. Nestled under a vaulted ceiling line, the vanity area maximizes a compact footprint to deliver a high-end, spa-like experience.
Key Design Features
Vessel Sink & Marble Vanity: A clean, white ceramic vessel sink sits elegantly atop a premium white-and-gray veined marble countertop, paired with a sleek, minimalist high-arc chrome faucet.
Custom Reclaimed Wood Elements: A striking, wide-plank wood framed mirror echoes the warm, rustic tones of the custom vanity cabinet below, grounding the bright space with natural texture.
Classic Beadboard & Subway Tile: Crisp white vertical beadboard wainscoting wraps the lower half of the walls, meeting a beautifully tiled shower enclosure lined with timeless white subway tile.
Industrial Chic Lighting: Matte black gooseneck sconces with clear glass shades flank the large mirror, casting warm, targeted illumination while adding a subtle farmhouse or industrial edge.

Completed in 2017, this project features midcentury modern interiors with copper, geometric, and moody accents. The design was driven by the client's attraction to a grey, copper, brass, and navy palette, which is featured in three different wallpapers throughout the home. As such, the townhouse incorporates the homeowner's love of angular lines, copper, and marble finishes. The builder-specified kitchen underwent a makeover to incorporate copper lighting fixtures, reclaimed wood island, and modern hardware. In the master bedroom, the wallpaper behind the bed achieves a moody and masculine atmosphere in this elegant "boutique-hotel-like" room. The children's room is a combination of midcentury modern furniture with repetitive robot motifs that the entire family loves. Like in children's space, our goal was to make the home both fun, modern, and timeless for the family to grow into. This project has been featured in Austin Home Magazine, Resource 2018 Issue.
