This gray and transitional kitchen remodel bridges the gap between contemporary style and traditional style. The dark gray cabinetry, light gray walls, and white subway tile backsplash make for a beautiful, neutral canvas for the bold teal blue and yellow décor accented throughout the design.
Designer Gwen Adair of Cabinet Supreme by Adair did a fabulous job at using grays to create a neutral backdrop to bring out the bright, vibrant colors that the homeowners love so much.
This Milwaukee, WI kitchen is the perfect example of Dura Supreme's recent launch of gray paint finishes, it has been interesting to see these new cabinetry colors suddenly flowing across our manufacturing floor, destined for homes around the country. We've already seen an enthusiastic acceptance of these new colors as homeowners started immediately selecting our various shades of gray paints, like this example of “Storm Gray”, for their new homes and remodeling projects!
Dura Supreme’s “Storm Gray” is the darkest of our new gray painted finishes (although our current “Graphite” paint finish is a charcoal gray that is almost black). For those that like the popular contrast between light and dark finishes, Storm Gray pairs beautifully with lighter painted and stained finishes.

This is a beautiful master bathroom and closet remodel. The free standing bathtub with chandelier is the focal point in the room. The shower is travertine subway tile with enough room for 2.

To make the space more functional, we relocated the refrigerator, and the homeowners replaced double wall ovens with a duel fuel range. Photography by Chrissy Racho

We went with a minimalist, clean, industrial look that feels light, bright and airy. The island is a dark charcoal with cool undertones that coordinates with the cabinetry and transom work in both the neighboring mudroom and breakfast area. White subway tile, quartz countertops, white enamel pendants and gold fixtures complete the update. The ends of the island are shiplap material that is also used on the fireplace in the next room.
In the new mudroom, we used a fun porcelain tile on the floor to get a pop of pattern, and walnut accents add some warmth. Each child has their own cubby, and there is a spot for shoes below a long bench. Open shelving with spots for baskets provides additional storage for the room.

Bathroom - transitional master black and white tile, gray tile and mosaic tile gray floor and porcelain tile bathroom idea in Columbus with recessed-panel cabinets, black cabinets, white walls, a hinged shower door and a niche

This Project began with the style of this kitchen in mind. The open floor plan gives you a beautiful view of the adjoining rooms. The granite in this kitchen was a happy accident as our original selection was over sold. The color tones in the overall space are light and dark to make for a striking contrast! Our clients wanted to make a statement and add an element of lux to their bathroom. Our designer created a sense of luxury and drama by mixing dark moody surface textures. Black feature tiles have different textured surfaces and create an eye catching finish as soon as you enter the bathroom. Black tiles are complemented by the walnut finish on the sleek vanity with an edgy Luxecrete benchtop in charcoal. The basin is moulded into the benchtop giving the vanity its clean minimalist look. The vanity, the shaving cabinet and the cupboard provide plenty of storage for the busy family of four. Matt black wall-mounted taps suit the dark colour scheme and give the bathroom its polished look. The black wall hung toilet is both practical and aesthetically pleasing, and it’s a sophisticated choice for a contemporary concealed toilet solution. The built-in shower bench enhances the look and functionality of the walk-in shower and provides its user with many practical solutions - from storing the toiletries to creating a perch to sit on.

These beautiful bathrooms located in Rancho Santa Fe were in need of a major upgrade. Once having dated dark cabinets, the desired bright design was wanted. Beautiful white cabinets with modern pulls and classic faucets complete the double vanity. The shower with long subway tiles and black grout! Colored grout is a trend and it looks fantastic in this bathroom. The walk in shower has beautiful tiles and relaxing shower heads. Both of these bathrooms look fantastic and look modern and complementary to the home.
