Under the great American Elm - Surprise lilies pop up in July (their foliage is only around in April & May), the Arum wither and vanish leaving their seed turning a brilliant orange. Hostas growing strong. When the native are successful, their offspring will be spread here by seeds or divisions (same as how I expand the front sunny beds).

Inspiration for a small contemporary landscaping in New York.

A solar home in need of the finishing touches included custom bedding and re-upholstery of the Homeowner's existing furniture. Roman shades were selected for their durability to help maintain the passive solar nature of the home. Fabric was concealed under a hinged wood valance for easy access for any necessary maintenance.
