Möbius was designed with intention of breaking away from architectural norms, including repeating right angles, and standard roof designs and connections. Nestled into a serene landscape on the barrier island of Casey Key, the home features protected, navigable waters with a dock on the rear side, and a private beach and Gulf views on the front. Before: This small peninsula created a large divide in the space. Our client felt cut off from the action, and conversation was made difficult when one was in the cooking space while the other was in the dining space. They desired to eliminate the divide and allow a straight line of sight so that more conversation could be had and an easier walking path could be created for navigating the space.

From the blooming landscape and beautiful, mature trees lining the winding driveway, to the gorgeous backyard overlooking Lake Norman and the elegant architectural features of the home itself, we were able to highlight the best features of this sprawling estate with a custom outdoor lighting system. Landscape lighting, architectural lighting, navigational lighting, path lights.

We recently completed a project in Bend, OR, for a client’s man cave, which he affectionately calls his motorcycle café. We used one of our modular cabinetry designs to accommodate his changing needs, making it the perfect solution as he navigated a recent life change. Additionally, if he decides to move, he can take the cabinetry with him to use in his new space, making this solution very versatile and cost-effective over the long term.

This project is the rebuild of a classic Craftsman bungalow that had been destroyed in a fire. Throughout the design process we balanced the creation of a house that would feel like a true home, to replace the one that had been lost, while managing a budget with challenges from the insurance company, and navigating through a complex approval process. Clay coaches his son's AAU Flexx All-Stars basketball team. When his teammates come over, they are always in awe of their outdoor backyard basketball half court. The playing area of their suspended minimal half court is 26 feet wide and 26 feet deep. Their residence in Ashburn, Virginia is the one with the patio attached. This is a Pro Dunk Diamond Basketball System that was purchased in May of 2011. It was installed on a 26 ft wide by a 26 ft deep playing area in Ashburn, VA. Skylight flashing detail on a replacement metal roof of this expansive residence in Waccabuc, New York. The uncluttered and sleek lines of this mid-century modern residence combined with organic, geometric forms to create numerous ridges and valleys which had to be taken into account during the installation. Further, numerous protrusions had to be navigated and flashed. We specified and installed Englert 24 gauge steel in matte black to compliment the dark brown siding of this residence. All in, this installation required 6,300 square feet of standing seam steel.

The final photo won't be ready for another 2 to 3 years but this series shows what can be done in just a few weeks. The clients now have a safe exit from the house, easy to navigate walkways wide enough to allow large containers to be placed in the corners, a new tree that in a few years will provide shade on the patio, fragrant perennials, and a mix of vegetables, herbs and fruit trees to make this gardener's garden a quiet sanctuary from a busy life.
