This Family Room is attached to the kitchen and opens to the patio. The furniture is placed to enjoy both the fireplace and media, while not obstructing the natural light coming in from or access to the double doors.

This row of windows provides a beautiful view to the outdoors, so the customers did not want full coverage window treatments. A soft valance provides some contrast and warmth, without obstructing the view.

Under counter obstructions like plumbing and electrical wiring need not cause designing dead ends thanks to the new U-Shaped Drawer modification. Suddenly, spaces that were once unusable become easily accessible storage workhorses.

A new main sink was located on the back wall where all the cooking takes place. A large induction cooktop was located to a new peninsula with a hood located in the ceiling so as not to obstruct the view. Multiple storage drawers are located below for all the cook's pots and pans.
