Our Indianapolis design studio designed a gut renovation of this home which opened up the floorplan and radically changed the functioning of the footprint. It features an array of patterned wallpaper, tiles, and floors complemented with a fresh palette, and statement lights.

For the staging of the house a patio that is a transition to the yard turns into a place to dine, entertain, and one can imagine oneself in the home with the question of who to invite for dinner...

Surrounding oneself with books and art can be done in an informal way. The books are to be handled, read, mixed and referenced.

An open living room and entertainer’s kitchen with floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. A custom mural is visible from the outside and provides interest as well as a way to orient oneself within the space.

The home theatre provides a cozy and whimsical, yet sophisticated setting for a crowd of movie watchers to relax in the incredibly comfortable leather lounge chairs, or for oneself to catch the latest flick for your own personal movie theatre experience!
We would be remiss not to mention the stretched ’Starry Sky’ ceiling which makes this space just a little more magical, as it transports you into another galaxy, for your viewing pleasure.

Sitting just off the kitchen, this entry boasts Medallion cabinetry that turns a small space into a repository of storage and functionality. The cabinets frame the window beautifully and provide a place to sit to prepare oneself for the elements, whatever they may be.

A look back at the driveway and brick archway highlights the more intimate nature of the courtyard. A bench tucked away provides a calm space to relax and gather oneself.

Inspiration for a rustic brown one-story wood gable roof remodel in Seattle

A Modern and warm with just a touch of rustic. Minimalistic and practical, the wooden ceiling flows into the floor while the interior is neutral and comfortable with a wide-angle TV and a glass fireplace to warm oneself.

Hideaway, Le Marche - San Marino, Italy
A historical Hideaway.

A well-hidden place where the spirit finds its peace, nested between the Romagna, the Marches and Tuscany. Entering the gate, one leaves behind the pace of chaotic lives, and abandons itself to the joy of living of this ancient land. It is meant to be understood as a site of experience, where nature, culture, history and pleasure are elevated to the centre of things in order to finally rediscover it in oneself. A sort of “back to the simplicity”, aiming to dedicate oneself to observation and drawing from it valuable experiences for one’s life. Each of the three houses presents itself as an unexpected world in its own right, closed in on itself and yet a harmonious part of the whole, waiting to be enlivened by lively laughter, animated conversation and playfulness. This territory is a paradise for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. The sheer variety of places and landscapes enables visitors to take excursions on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. History and architecture enthusiasts can follow an itinerary of strongholds and castles dotted around the area. Lovers of gourmet food will discover a full range of traditional dishes and quality local produce all year round. The rich variety of museums enables exploration into the rural arts, medieval architecture, archaeological finds and contemporary art.

When people think of a salon, we visualize a quick paced space, full of bustle. This salon is designed to be a refuge for one, in oneself. The colours are warm and earthy, the light is functional yet soothing. The natural light is also welcomed in, with a beautiful tree as the backdrop. The Material palette is carefully composed together with shades of Walnut wood complemented by Matte Black paint and Off-White Paint. The warm tones in fabric, and the brass accents add a layer of comfort along with the placement of natural plants.
The reception area and lounge is designed to give the customers a peek of the space and the luxurious experience that awaits them. The salon space itself is spread out, and minimal; fabric chairs also designed and manufactured by us, to sink into. The space is designed to connect people visually to the surrounding and to other people should they choose to be, and to the staff, that they always feel like they’re being taken care of, but also zoned such that one can choose to be reclusive and enjoy the company of oneself.
The warmth we were able to achieve with the space was a result of well curated fabric, the right furniture type. with the pop of brass accents and the lighting. It is a perfect marriage of function and aesthetic in our clients’ eyes.
