Patio - small traditional backyard stamped concrete patio idea in Denver with no cover

Framing the kitchen entryway is a graceful arch echoing other arched doors and corridor openings in this Mediterranean-style home. The archway, island, sink, and window are all aligned along the same axis, creating a beautiful sightline. Rather than match the adjacent original floors, natural herringbone white oak was chosen. The cabinetry, in Benjamin Moore’s “Decorator’s White”, is frameless full-overlay with an uncluttered stepped Shaker inner profile. Tudor-inspired diamond patterned leaded glass panes appears in two sizes: standard-sized ones flanking the window and range hood; and a miniaturized version in the upper doors of the countertop wall cabinet. Jet black lead offers striking contrast to the white cabinets. Another diamond pattern appears on the back of the island. Countertops, double waterfall island ends, and slab backsplashes are luxurious yet durable “Unique Calacatta” quartz by Compac. Brushed brass accents are found everywhere: as banding on the custom stainless hood; on handles and knobs; and on the slender legs of the stools. But the most striking brass elements are the lighting fixtures: the capped and riveted globe pendants with internal candelabra bulbs; and the whimsical bubble chandelier over the breakfast table. Even the patio offers a thoughtfully framed vista into the breakfast room.

This contemporary/modern bathroom uses a combination of grey and beige to make a beautiful blend of Greige. The Charcoal stain on the cabinets is also a great blend of the 2 colors giving just enough warmth to the room. We used Marazzi Lounge 14 Spritzer 12x24 porcelain tile on the ground and the decorative inlay on the shower. New Caledonia Granite and BEHR- Studio Taupe on the walls.

Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 430-1215. This project shows new 12 x 24 tile installed vertically with offset layout pattern on wall and floor. Includes shower box with linear glass accent tile back and vertical glass accent band. Tile edges are finished with Schluter Jolly satin aluminum profile edge trim.

Location: New York, NY, United States This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets.
