This was a simple bathroom remodel but with a slew of challenges to overcome. We were confined to a very small space however we needed to redesign this bathroom to fit the needs of a master bath setup. Adding the archway over the shower/tub and the custom shelving really gave some style to the room and added some much needed storage, we also tried our hardest to make the vanity a true centerpiece with the backsplash and all of the additions.

Overcoming Ceiling Light with Ease
Our Ceiling -Light Rejecting material absorbs 95% of overhead lighting. A micro-cirriform optical structure on the surface filters out ceiling light for superior picture quality.

This re-conceived rambler for a family of 4 sits comfortably within its original footprint yet meets contemporary living needs through StudioMB's addition of a new second floor, covered and uncovered rear courts, and a lower terrace. These elements, along with a new front court that brings views of the outdoors into the new living and kitchen, overcomes the original layout’s small, dark spaces while the added wood and glass boxes bring natural light deep into the home.

The Tice Residences replace a run-down and aging duplex with two separate, modern, Santa Barbara homes. Although the unique creek-side site (which the client’s original home looked toward across a small ravine) proposed significant challenges, the clients were certain they wanted to live on the lush “Riviera” hillside.
The challenges presented were ultimately overcome through a thorough and careful study of site conditions. With an extremely efficient use of space and strategic placement of windows and decks, privacy is maintained while affording expansive views from each home to the creek, downtown Santa Barbara and Pacific Ocean beyond. Both homes appear to have far more openness than their compact lots afford.
The solution strikes a balance between enclosure and openness. Walls and landscape elements divide and protect two private domains, and are in turn, carefully penetrated to reveal views.
Both homes are variations on one consistent theme: elegant composition of contemporary, “warm” materials; strong roof planes punctuated by vertical masses; and floating decks. The project forms an intimate connection with its setting by using site-excavated stone, terracing landscape planters with native plantings, and utilizing the shade provided by its ancient Riviera Oak trees.

The juxtaposition of raw, weathered and finished woods with sleek whites, mixed metals and soft textured elements strike a fabulous balance between industrial, rustic and glamorous – exactly what the designers envisioned for this dream retreat. This unique home’s design combines recycled shipping containers with traditional stick-building methods and resulted in a luxury hybrid home, inside and out. The design team was particularly challenged with overcoming various preconceived notions about containers to truly create something new, luxurious and sustainable.

Who wouldn't fall in love with the Water Street building, and the elegant industrial vibe? The light that floods in through the floor-to-ceiling windows makes this a perfect spot to entertain and host friends from California or adult kids who visit. The location can't be beat--these clients ride their bikes to meet friends for lunch or a tour through the Hirschhorn. We knocked down a wall to open the kitchen, and added modern furnishings punctuated by splashes of deep orangey-red. High contrast and lots of rich textures can be found throughout this urban loft.

This bathroom was part of a project that we had to divide a Jack and Jill bathroom into two separate bathrooms. In order to make it functional within limited space, we Installed a flush linen closet that has seamless edges, and cabinet drawers instead of doors for more storage. 5 ft stand-up shower, straight granite finish, and Italian porcelain all makes this bathroom overcome the size factor.

This remodel transformed two condos into one, overcoming access challenges. We designed the space for a seamless transition, adding function with a laundry room, powder room, bar, and entertaining space.
A sleek office table and chair complement the stunning blue-gray wallpaper in this home office. The corner lounge chair with an ottoman adds a touch of comfort. Glass walls provide an open ambience, enhanced by carefully chosen decor, lighting, and efficient storage solutions.

Here is a recent project by our client Designer Sunrooms & Additions in the Niagara area of #Ontario.
This existing porch had some installation hurdles to overcome, including building around an existing fireplace and countertop.
The walls are framed with our 3 x 3 aluminum tube and then fitted with our Craft-Bilt 4 Track Stacking Windows. Nice jobs guys! #4trackwindows #sunrooms #porchenclosures by #craftbilt
