The master suite features a colorful bedroom with playful graphic designs on the bedspread and wall paper. Next to the bedroom is the master on-suite bathroom. Scavolini suspended bath cabinetry is a organic medium brown textured melamin (copied in the two jack & jill bathrooms also pictured). The room is centered around a stand alone white porcelain tub with chrome faucet. Jack & Jill bathrooms are almost identical, using the same 'warm' textured melamine in the cabinets from Scavolini. Each bathroom has its own identity in the small upper medicine cabinet, one in sage green and the other in turquoise blue matte lacquer. Martin Vecchio

This master bathroom boasts Wescott Navy painted cabinets from Grabill Cabinets in their Madison Square door style with beautifully framed vanity mirrors.

Every little girl dreams of having a bathroom vanity like this, don't they? Well, our client decided she was worth every penny of it and it turned in to a dream come true for her. (Oh, and yes, her husband had his own (smaller) vanity on the opposite side of the bathroom...) The cabinetry was custom built and includes a full sink vanity and separate makeup table. We got creative with the countertop corner cabinet which can be opened from either side. The natural materials in the travertine floor, marble countertops, and handmade ceramic backsplash tile made this bathroom the pinnacle of elegance.

This is a a custom cabinetry project that we did for a customer in Shelby NC, we worked with Wendi Gragg, interior designer, to bring all the details together. After raising their five children, these empty-nesters were ready to say goodbye to their outdated 1990’s master suite complete with blue laminate countertops, wall-to-wall carpeting (even in the bathroom) and brass Hollywood lighting. The couple looked forward to regular visits from their children and grandchildren, and wanted to create a warm, inviting master suite that they all could enjoy together. We teamed with general contractor Stanley Renovation and Design for the remodeling and custom cabinetry. The master suite was reconfigured to include a built-in entertainment center, a more comprehensive and stately bathroom vanity, adding character to the space with millwork and doors, and a spacious and bright shower for two. A beautifully remodeled primary bathroom ensuite inspired by the homeowner’s European travels. This spacious bathroom was dated and had a cold cave like shower. The homeowner desired a beautiful space with a European feel, like the ones she discovered on her travels to Europe. She also wanted a privacy door separating the bathroom from her bedroom. The designer opened up the closed off shower by removing the soffit and dark cabinet next to the shower to add glass and let light in. Now the entire room is bright and airy with marble look porcelain tile throughout. The archway was added to frame in the under-mount tub. The double vanity in a soft gray paint and topped with Corian Quartz compliments the marble tile. The new chandelier along with the chrome fixtures add just the right amount of luxury to the room. Now when you come in from the bedroom you are enticed to come in and stay a while in this beautiful space.

Dark stone, custom cherry cabinetry, misty forest wallpaper, and a luxurious soaker tub mix together to create this spectacular primary bathroom. These returning clients came to us with a vision to transform their builder-grade bathroom into a showpiece, inspired in part by the Japanese garden and forest surrounding their home. Our designer, Anna, incorporated several accessibility-friendly features into the bathroom design; a zero-clearance shower entrance, a tiled shower bench, stylish grab bars, and a wide ledge for transitioning into the soaking tub. Our master cabinet maker and finish carpenters collaborated to create the handmade tapered legs of the cherry cabinets, a custom mirror frame, and new wood trim.

The configuration of a structural wall at one end of the bathroom influenced the interior shape of the walk-in steam shower. The corner chases became home to two recessed shower caddies on either side of a niche where a Botticino marble bench resides. The walls are white, highly polished Thassos marble. For the custom mural, Thassos and Botticino marble chips were fashioned into a mosaic of interlocking eternity rings. The basket weave pattern on the shower floor pays homage to the provenance of the house. The linen closet next to the shower was designed to look like it originally resided with the vanity--compatible in style, but not exactly matching. Like so many heirloom cabinets, it was created to look like a double chest with a marble platform between upper and lower cabinets.
