This is a quintessential Colorado home. Massive raw steel beams are juxtaposed with refined fumed larch cabinetry, heavy lashed timber is foiled by the lightness of window walls. Monolithic stone walls lay perpendicular to a curved ridge, organizing the home as they converge in the protected entry courtyard. From here, the walls radiate outwards, both dividing and capturing spacious interior volumes and distinct views to the forest, the meadow, and Rocky Mountain peaks. An exploration in craftmanship and artisanal masonry & timber work, the honesty of organic materials grounds and warms expansive interior spaces. Inspiration for a large transitional light wood floor enclosed dining room remodel in Miami with gray walls

The hallway is a transition space between the living area and the entrance foyer. The walls were painted different colors to accentuate the different spaces. The brown wall leads up to the home office, the rich metallic green wall is the entrance foyer, the light blue walls are the quiet transition space. The walls of the living space are a light purple shade. The purple is then picked up in the floral arrangement. D. Bentley

Inspiration for a large timeless master gray tile, white tile and stone tile medium tone wood floor and brown floor claw-foot bathtub remodel in New York with white walls and a hinged shower door

This original 1950's kitchen with a pink backsplash and pale blue appliances needed a fresh take. Hardwood floors were installed to match the existing wood on the first floor. Bright white quartz countertops and a white backsplash created using both flat/glossy and matte/raised hex tiles created a textured flower pattern. Slab front cabinets in a mixture of wood and white tackled the storage issues. The pop of orange of the Bertazonni oven is the counter balance to the cool fresh wall color and tons of natural light. A beautiful, functional space to create healthy meals for her family was paramount to our client. We created this fresh space by dropping a touch of Palm Springs into the Pacific Northwest.

Part of seamless custom suite of kitchen, breakfast room, family room, rear hall, and powder room. An antique cabinet was recycled as the vanity base, and given a new soap stone counter, with undermount sink and brushed nickle faucet. The wood wainscot and trim are painted poplar, the floor: reclaimed wide oak barn board. A laser cut grill in the custom radiator cover allowed perfect alignment of the traditional cutout pattern within the space available.
