We were invited to participate in the 2019 Miami Designer Showhouse for Miami Life magazine. Our team designed the master suite including the master bedroom, bathroom, and connecting hallway. We gave both spaces a bohemian, natural, and sophisticated feel. The focal point of the master bedroom is the 6ft mirror hung on the wall next to the bed. It is a breathtaking design feature, and it makes the room feel larger. To make sure that the room feels completely bespoke, we worked with a local wood fabricator to make an accent wall out of angled wood pieces that were painted the same color as the surrounding room. This accent wall is right at the entrance to the master suite, so it sets the tone for a unique and gorgeous space. In the bathroom, we created an oasis by wrapping the entire space in tile and accenting it with bronze finishes in the mirrors and light fixtures. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. This home (apartment) was a vacant listing with only a few pieces of furniture in the era of early 1900's. Cindy Montgomery, National Designer designing out of New York was hired to design the home. The home did go through a renovation in the 80's and was featured in Architectural Digest afterwards. Inspiration for a craftsman exterior home remodel in DC Metro

2015 Home Tour Participant Looking to add more living space for this growing family, Homeowners of this 1923 St Paul home made the decision to finish their basement. A full new floor plan was designed to include a long list of must haves. The new space included: a new bedroom, family room for the kids to play, an additional room for guests and/or study, new 3/4 bath, easy access for bicycle storage in laundry, low pile carpet that is comfortable for the kids to play, and warmth for the MN winters! A great floor plan was designed that integrated the family room and guest bed/study that also creates wonderful sight lines and a great flow. The basement was updated with all new windows including two egress windows. Beautiful rainglass pocket doors were installed to the bath and laundry to continue the flow of natural light from room to room. Custom natural oak millwork and beautiful door knobs by Rejuvenation Hardware were installed throughout. To match the charm of the home, subway tile and hex tile floors were installed in the new bath and shower. The bath was finished with a stock vanity, mirror, lighting, and Kohler plumbing fixtures. Modern features were also integrated throughout including Hudson Reed wall mount radiators and a NEST thermostat. One of our favorite features of this project, is the original support header and column that we decided to keep exposed. The homeowners took it upon themselves to sand the aged wood down to its natural color and it truly creates a unique piece of art. This bathroom was designed for two teenage boys to share. Note the emphasis on functionality. Each boy can set up shop on his own side of the vanity. Each has an outlet and plenty of cabinet storage. A shared middle drawer has a built-in outlet for keeping razors out of the way while charging. The color palette is soothing but just bold enough. A pocket door saves space while offering some privacy during busy times. Consider the utility of the handheld shower head and bench combo – a handy setup for tending to sports injuries or powering through sore mornings after team practice. This space isn’t devoid of personal touches, though. The hexagon tiles in the shower are subtle but have a very special meaning. You see, this family has a history of participating in the National Spelling Bee contest. The dad went the distance a few decades ago and now both boys compete. The honeycomb motif serves as a daily reminder of the family’s shared passion and the endless possibilities that await when you set an intention and work hard at it. This bathroom is part of a larger remodel that included a new primary bath, a primary suite closet and a new kitchen.

Speaking: Pamela taught fun and informative Interior Design classes at Portland Community College for eight years where she shared her love of design with enthusiastic home owners. She has presented Lunch & Learn workshops for Intel Corporation and was a featured speaker at the Northwest Women’s Show, several area Women’s church groups, Portland’s Festival of Trees and the Portland Home & Garden Show.

Rich and Janet approached us looking to downsize their home and move to Corvallis to live closer to family. They were drawn to our passion for passive solar and energy-efficient building, as they shared this same passion. They were fortunate to purchase a 1050 sf house with three bedrooms and 1 bathroom right next door to their daughter and her family. While the original 55-year-old residence was characterized by an outdated floor plan, low ceilings, limited daylight, and a barely insulated outdated envelope, the existing foundations and floor framing system were in good condition. Consequently, the owners, working in tandem with us and their architect, decided to preserve and integrate these components into a fully transformed modern new house that embodies the perfect symbiosis of energy efficiency, functionality, comfort and beauty. With the expert participation of our designer Sarah, homeowners Rich and Janet selected the interior finishes of the home, blending lush materials, textures, and colors together to create a stunning home next door to their daughter’s family. The successful completion of this wonderful project resulted in a vibrant blended-family compound where the two families and three generations can now mingle and share the joy of life with each other.

234,000 sq ft of pre-finished reclaimed heart pine flooring was recently selected for the residences at Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, NY opening 2016. The color of choice is "Pierhouse" white. Pierhouse is the centuries-long culmination of development along the Brooklyn waterfront. Once a rural village, then one of the world's busiest ports, and now a renowned park and residential wonderland, Pierhouse is an opportunity to participate in an evolution in the way people think about "home.

An existing outdated back porch structure was removed and replaced with a larger outdoor living area designed to truly fit this family’s current lifestyle. It encompasses the entire back of the house with a low sloping vaulted ceiling and is accessible from all spaces. Special emphasis was given to the kitchen area where grandchildren participate in cooking the catch of the day from family fishing trips! Dining and sitting spaces are also provided with a fireplace that can be viewed through French doors from the Living Room. The master suite is updated with a modernized bathroom that features a walk-in tub and a large accessible shower.

We recently participated in a Designer Showhouse for a historic home in Bayport, NY. We were asked to do the dining room, kitchen and laundry room. Due to the homes proximity to the ocean we chose ocean blues as our theme color. Although the room itself is a good size we did not want to overwhelm it with furniture and instead chose accent pieces that draw the viewers attention to the beautifully restored chair rail on the walls. The bamboo rug blends nicely with the restored floors, thus offering it protection in the table area but not detracting from the floors natural beauty. We chose to work with the existing chandelier in keeping with the style of the home. We changed the glass to shades on the chandelier to give the room softer feel. We thank Barbara Leogrande of Douglas Elliman for offering us the opportunity to work on this beautifully restored historic home.

The 1x1 glass tile forming the spa spillway attracts the waterfall like a magnet to deliver a gentle edgeless connection to the swimming pool. With carefully cut & placed tile match on the "rolled beam" of the spa interior, the entire spa scene gleams with intent as it delivers smooth, restful comfort. Completing the scene with an expansive pool deck color matched to bring it all together and leaving plenty of room for sports, play & relaxation delivers the total residential dream oasis.

G3 provided a variety of services for the conversion of these mid-19th century landmarked loft warehouses to luxury condominiums. Our participation commenced as a third-party observer for the mezzanine lender, who assumed control of the project when the original developer went bankrupt. Working both as architect and redevelopment manager, we led the following activities: • Forensic analysis of construction defects • Code analysis for egress and fire safety • Comprehensive façade renovation, including NYC Local Law 11 filing and Landmarks approval • Development of new metal-and glass exterior façade enclosure for two penthouse levels • Redesign of residential units to improve marketability and to meet code • Redesign of building lobby to improve marketability

Ca. 1919 Craftsman Style Home, Revisioned by the South’s Leading Designers Twenty‐two leading interior designers from three different states completely restored this historic home on Franklin’s historic Main Street as part of the O’More Show House, which was opened to the public from May 12‐27, 2016 and presented by leading sponsor, PARKS. This is the third O’More Show House event in recent years, with participating designers having ties to O’More College of Design in downtown Franklin and proceeds benefiting the College’s School of Interior Design. The 2016 home, a 5,200 square‐foot ca. 1919 brick and stucco Craftsman‐style cottage, is a significant contributing property to the National Register‐listed Hincheyville Historic District. The owners have undertaken a total renovation of the home’s interior while leaving the street‐view exterior intact. We were recommended to project managers and O'More College for the entire landscape design and installation: landscaping, irrigation, lighting, paver walks and patios, paver-raised porch with steps, paver banding in driveway!

Tasked with transforming four mundane and forgotten outdoor spaces, we culled together an artistic vision that revolves around the theme of reflection and interplays natural and manmade features. The progression starts with an outdoor covered gallery with a dappled light ceiling, reclaimed redwood decking and swinging chairs. The effect brings to mind youthful memories. The next space incorporates two thirty foot long reflective sculptural walls that add privacy and interest behind trained rhododendron. The spaces crescendo into the upper terrace with a custom mirrored sculpture that adds dynamism and is a wondrous outdoor room for reflection.

Our client was first introduced to our work when participating in the "Prairie Urban Garden" Tour put on by the Oldman Watershed Council (OWC). Their desire was to have their own "water conscious" landscape created for their new home. The Xeriscpe design was created using plant material that would have interest throughout all 4 seasons and the flagstone material was chosen to reflect the natural style the client desired.
