Client hired Morse Remodeling to design and construct this newly purchased home with large lot so that they could move their family with young children in. It was a full gut, addition and entire renovation of this 1960's ranch style home. The house is situated in a neighborhood which has seen many whole house upgrades and renovations. The original plan consisted of a living room, family room, and galley kitchen. These were all renovated and combined into one large open great room. A master suite addition was added to the back of the home behind the garage. A full service laundry room was added near the garage with a large walk in pantry near the kitchen. This remodeled Fallbrook bathroom was transformed to open up the space and bring in natural light. Light pental quartz counter tops and gray Arizona Tile's Metalwood series Argento tile contrast a dark shower and Java stained Lyptus Starmark Cabinetry. The large walk-in shower features a Hansgrohe Samset rain shower head with additional hand shower as well as a shower bench and Moen grab bar. It is accented with an Arozona Tile Alabastro Iron Pencil strip. The water closet features more natural light and additional storage space. All photography by Scott Basile.

This was an update from a combination Tub/Shower Bath into a more modern walk -in Shower. We used a sliding barn door shower enclosure and a sleek large tile with a metallic pencil trim to give this outdated bathroom a much needed refresh. We also incorporated a laminate wood wall to coordinate with the tile. The floating shelves helped to add texture and a beautiful point of focus. The vanity is floating above the floor with a mix of drawers and open shelving for storage.

We often come across clients looking for small space ideas. Our first recommendation is always to go bright. Her refined design-eye coupled with our bright and bold tile transformed this small bathroom into the perfect master bath. And could you believe it? This is a super simple project! Read on to learn more about this design and how to achieve the look yourself. Another great way to open up a small bathroom is by using smaller tile! Our regular Hexagons are the great example of this - approximately 2"x2" their small size maximizes the rest of the room, and their classic shape is perfect for a bathroom floor.

Contemporary interpolation to a classical bathroom. The materials used here is Marble... yes Marble! we have gray sandblasted marble on the floor in Versailles pattern to give the bathroom floor depth and sensation of space, we used pure high grade Thasos marble cut to 18x6 too be placed in a staggered pattern (brick pattern) Just look at that pure white marble look. To finish the edges installation of a pencil liner from same material and to add some trim a gray marble linear trim line was installed with same color pencil liner to border it. The classical furniture vanity comes in dark gray to compliment the flooring and the top is the classical Carrara marble material. Notice the bi-fold doors on the right, looks like a linen cabinet but it’s not. Due to lack of space in the house (this is a small craftsman home in the hills of Glendale) we were requested to bring the laundry from the basement to the house and so we did. Those bi-fold doors you are looking at are hiding the stackable washer and dryer. To finish everything off all the fixtures are in a great Kohler vibrant polished nickel finish.

The neo angle shower fits nicely into the corner of this mid sized master bathroom. The custom glass doors provide a sense of openness.
