Location: McKinney, TX, USA Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Smith purchased their first home together and had two key priorities. 1 - Maximize the use of their existing furnishings and decor, while purging unnecessary and dated items. 2 - Add impactful accents to make their home feel like a "model home" with personality and hominess. This couple's fun-natured personalities and flexibility to try new styles made this a very easy and exciting project to accomplish! What was once a very eclectic collection of furnishings and decor has been pulled together by the Delaney's Design team to have a mature and consistent style throughout the home, touch of whimsical touches reflect their personalities. Within 2 weeks of move-in, the home was 80% complete. Just over one month later, the holidays have come and gone and the couple's home is complete! They wanted to keep their family heirlooms but also wanted to add more contemporary items to give their home an updated look. New seating arrangement with a new sofa that can be reconfigured depending on the entertainment need was key to this room being functional, comfortable, and beautiful!

By removing the original shower and tub we were able to create this luxurious walk in shower. The 2 shampoo niches are hidden in the pony wall so as not to intrerrupt the decorative feature wall and glass block window. The client's personal items adorn the floating shelves.

This owners' suite adjoins a seductive bath complete with steam shower. The continual use of the blue and orange color scheme draws out the many different personalities of the unique wood floors and highlights the versatility of the color palette. Editing a few items allows the details to take center stage.

Originally hosting only 1 huge bathroom this design was not sufficient for our clients which had difference of opinion of how they wish their personal bathroom should look like. Dividing the space into two bathrooms gave each one of our clients the ability to receive a fully personalized design. Husband's bathroom is a modern farmhouse design with a wall mounted sink, long narrow subway tile on the walls and wood looking tile for the floors. a large recessed medicine cabinet with built-in light fixtures was installed with a large recessed niche under it for placing all the items that usually are placed on the counter. The wall mounted toilet gives a nice clean look and a modern touch.
